Someone need to MAN UP Luis Ortiz is ready for WAR

Luis has been out for almost a year and eager for a return, but there are no takers.

Povetkin just showed these old boys can still go, who has the Cajones to step to real king Kong.

Is kingkong forbidden to offer a contract or propose fight to other fighters?
Why must he always wait for others to come to him?
He has a management, let them do the needful. Take the fight to them.
        These excuses are lame.

It is difficult due to boxing politics. Ortiz would probably fight those with good relations with PBC unless he moves on to Bob. You would see a Povetkin vs Ortiz or Whyte vs Ortiz only if the WBC makes it a final eliminator for mandatory position. Otherwise, Ortiz vs Takam or Arreola or Breazeale or something like that.

What’s to gain from fighting Ortiz? He’s not a legacy or a money fight

He has beaten no one of any note and was blasted out twice by the weaker titleholder

Maybe if he actually built a resume he’d be worth fighting. Some of the lower ranked top 20 could fight him as a stepping stone into the top 10 but there’s other options for them

I am sure Wallin would fight Ortiz. But would American promoters pay Wallin at least 100 000 dollars for that?

I’d like to see Ortiz fight a solid second tier guy like Povetkin, Ruiz, Parker etc.

We know Ortiz can’t beat the top fighters as he got ironed out by Wilder twice

Put him in with the fighters just below that and see if he can compete. If/when he loses to them, it’s time to stop mentioning him as a realistic contender.

Me to, but is there a money for that?

Those guys are millionaires, they won`t fight Ortiz for very small money.
