Joshua has three belts Fury has one. Just because Fury wants to fight the same guy three times doesn't mean he gets more belts. That's not how it works.

Fury has made no secret that he's fighting Wilder again (still a top 2/3 HW) and then is fighting Joshua (a top 2/3 HW)

    What's the problem here exactly?

Wilder flat out ducked Whyte, he had money offers turned down on multiple occasions and was seen messaging Whyte about making him wait for TWO years. Moreover Wilder fought others for LESS money when he had offers of more money on the table for a Whyte fight......That WAS a duck.

With Fury it hasn't come to that yet.
I know you are right, but I just get so pissed when I read some of the BS. Dillian Whyte, like him or not earned the shot he never received. He fights the guys nobody else will fight and gets caught by a lucky punch and the entire WBC breathed a sigh of relief.

Those belts belong to Fury, he never lost them in the ring.

Fury has beaten two long reigning champions, Joshua has beaten zero. AJs best win is still Furys sloppy seconds.

Fury is ranked #1 by every boxing publication in the world, if Joshua ever wants to be called the man, he has to go through Fury.

I'm still waiting for someone to answer this question.

He is now sounding more like Wilder who did everything to avoid Whyte, and now that Whyte got KTFO they see it as a victory for them, fact is when it comes to fighting Whyte they weren't that keen.
I won't lie and say I wasn't delighted Whyte got sparko, I won't lie and say I wanted to see Whyte fight Fury..

I just wanted to see a unified fight which is why I was all for Fury to go straight to fight AJ.. yes I know whyte was Mando but I still don't think that would have been enforced but that's just my thoughts..

I just dont agree with Fury now saying he was used as a buffer when they reported a 2 deal fight was agreed and he dissed Whyte long after... The promotion/tongues wagging had already started with the fake meeting in the street abroad...

I just find it rather odd unless he's just stirring the pot for the promotion of the AJ fight..

Hearn's priority in all this was and is purely financial, why should anyone be surprised? He wanted the wage from the Whyte vs Fury fight and if Whyte pulled off an upset he'd be in line for double bubble with AJ - twice! If not he can fall back on what's previously agreed with Fury's team. Remember his insistence of fitting the potential Fury vs Whyte fight would have had no bearing on the dates set for AJ and the winner.

It's all about the dough, and always will be. He's even managed to profit from Whyte getting flopped by Povetkin via PPV. The rematch pencilled into the contract is sure to be another PPV event and probably generate better numbers the 2nd time around due to the drama of the first fight. Povetkin is also getting a bit of a name for himself on UK shores. Hearn protecting his fighters is a complete myth. He's goes where the pound signs are and as a fighter who prioritises financial gain over taking a loss that's probably what you want from a promoter.

The only reason am glad Whyte got KO is because now one obstacle has been removed temporarily. But the fact that Fury/Wilder 3 isn't a sure thing for December 19th makes it annoying.

Because if Povetkin/Whyte 2 happens in December and Whyte wins then we would be back where we are. If Fury goes ahead and fight Joshua AFTER Wilder then i have zero issues with it, but if he goes and fight another Otto wallin or tom schwartz AFTER Wilder then i have an issue with that.

                    Agree..

Maybe it was me being a little naive thinking Fury wanted the big money fight and wouldn't let anything get in the way...

                    Suppose time will tell.

Pretty ok till the lucky punch part..

There was nothing lucky about that.
