Porter would win at this stage, style wise this would be a long hard night for Manny

Manny wouldn't avoid Porter's either. It would be a tough fight, and the closest Prime Pac stylistically he fought that was similar to Porter was Hatton who doesn't have Porter's footwork or handspeed or strength. It would be a tough fight

Definitely an awful matchup for Pacquiao at this stage of this career. He struggled to handle the physicality of Jeff Horn, I think he'd be quickly overwhelmed by Porter's swarming attack. I actually think he'd have an easier time against Crawford even though Crawford is definitely a better fighter overall imo.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree then

He beat Horn and almost knocked him out

I don't care what the bs scorecards said

Doing better than expected doesn't beat a champion, I'm afraid

Manny Pacquiao circa 2008-2010 loved it when bigger guys attempted to steamroll him. If Porter tried to do that, he would eat punches coming in. If anything Shawn would have to use his jab and footwork because simply trying to bull his way in would be costly.

Porter would use his footwork and jab, he always does use it to cone inside. Pac had trouble with the style of Horn and Bradley before it and Porter is Bradley 2.5 as far as skill and talent. I'm not sayibg Pac couldn't win, he can, but even Pac's trainer knows it would be a tough fight.

provodnikov vs porter would be a solid match... if anyone coul unretire ruslan.

To be fair, stylistically, Porter is all wrong for damn near everybody. That's his thing. He makes it ugly.
