Whatever anyone’s opinion on Whyte I can’t criticise him for taking on decent opposition whilst mandatory. Many boxers would have fought very limited opposition!

Please end the Whyte has a strong resume fiction. He has been busted 2x for PEDs. He has laughable fake corrupt wins over Parker, Rivas, and Chrisora 1 while roided up. Neutral site with judges not paid off by matchroom and those are defeats. Clown was exposed. Stop praising cheaters

This is exactly what Hearn wanted, Whyte really need to look at working with someone else after his rematch with Povetkin.

I would and I did criticise him. He shouldn’t have fought Povetkin. Anything can happen at HW with boxers like Povetkin. He should have been fighting F level of HW whilst his mandatory was sitting on ice.

Its not like this was even much of an upset, Povetkin even at 40 was going to be a threat to someone at Dillians level especially when you look at how slow and sluggish Whyte looked against Wach. Mind you, if it keeps Dillian from interjecting himself in AJ/Fury again, whatever.
Great note, that rematch thing is annoying. Povetkin shouldn’t be obligated to rematching Whyte, I understand they have a written contract and all, but when you have a mandatory on the line or a belt on the line then boxing need to stop the rematch thing.

I understand where you are coming from but in terms of entertainment I’d much rather see decent fights!

Parker never got no rematch with Whyte and he was far more deserving given the dubious result of their fight.
parker estaba limpiando el piso con withe,en una revancha lo habria sacado en 5 o 6

I never get this weird talk about promoters letting their fighters get beaten. You want him to put them in with bums so they stay unbeaten? Maybe that would make you happy - but no one else. Some of us actually want to see close fights.

If Whyte is good enough he will beat Povetkin in the rematch. Even if he loses - he still has a chance against another fighter. Boxing is a sport. All the best fighters will lose a few times. The main thing is to be fighting quality opposition every fight

Only thing I criticise Whyte for is not really believing that Povetkin could take him out. Whyte said it before the fight but i could tell he didn't really believe it.

Its also good he lost because it shows the WBC up for not giving Whyte a shot after 1000 days. WBC is most corrupt body out there with all their franchise champion BS. If I won that belt I'd throw it in the trash and do a big s*** on it.
