Remember when everyone claimed Wilder avoided Whyte?

I wouldn’t say levels but I hope you see now why I said Povetkin is better then Parker .
Whyte should have actually won had he picked moments to turn it up ,he gave Povetkin way to much time to think in there ,you can see the comment I made in the main thread I called it before the knockout saying Povetkin is getting closer .Comment

making up your own fake timeline to defend wilders ducking ways i see. fury was not the best. wilder turned whyte down many times before the fury fight and we all know the wbc and pbc worked together to pass over whyte and insteall breazele but im sure you will pretend it was just a coincidence that happeendComment

Povetkin knocked out Whyte not Wilder! So it is no Moral Victory for Wilder here.
With that being said, I've always thought Wilder would destroy Whyte and always thought he should've just went ahead and taken that fight and should've traveled to the UK to Embarrass him
Oh Well the Division moves on! Whyte has to rebuild he lost to the 9th Rated guy in the WBC Rankings so he goes down and have to rebuild and NO beating Povetkin in a rematch does not get him his WBC Interim Status back just like that. Seems like Eddie and some fans are confused how that works. They think he can just win the rematch in December and then all of a sudden he is right back

Styles makes fights. Just because whyte lost to povetkin doesn't mean wilder would crush whyte. Whye has good inside fighting and that still can overwhelm wilder, who has shown that he can't fight on the inside and he sure as hell can't fight going back.Comment

You probably blame Wilder for PEDvetkin failing peds for that fight..making up your own fake timeline to defend wilders ducking ways i see. fury was not the best. wilder turned whyte down many times before the fury fight and we all know the wbc and pbc worked together to pass over whyte and insteall breazele but im sure you will pretend it was just a coincidence that happeendComment

Not "everyone" claimed that. Only Eddie hearn bots said so.
See the thing is, most boxers are prizefighters nowadays and want the big fights with most return (fame and money) with the lowest risk. Wilder is based in the US and, frankly, nobody knows Whyte there. It wasn't unreasonable (from Wilders point) to demand that Whyte's contract contain a mandatory AJ fight. Or that Whyte come over to the states, sign with PBC for 2-3 matches to make a name, before taking on Wilder. If Wilder-Ortiz could be hyped up, so could Whyte-Wilder but not if nobody knows him. A Wilder fighting Whyte in the UK would have been high risk, low return fight.
For Wilder, after the Fury fight, it would make sense if he had gone after Miller (but now that seems out) or Ruiz Jr. An AJ fight would have big money (and big risk) as that can be financed overseas or make big money even in the US. Otherwise, Wilder would go for a less risky fight to win in style and get his reputation back. Kownacki would be a good candidate for that.Comment

Whyte doesn't move his head much or uses his feet to stay away and is hittable. Wilder won't need inside game but a big right hand would put Whyte into deep slumber. I see Wilder-Whyte ending similar to Wilder-Breazeale.Comment
