Your translator appears to be ridiculously, far off the mark.

I love how they were hyping it up as a 50-50 fight when deep down they thought they cherry-picked a shot fighter with a name. The disbelief from the Sky commentary as if the biggest boxing upset in history just took place and Hearn's shell shocked post fight interview said it all.

I agree with that and it's kind of my point. They thought Povetkin was too far gone to be able to beat Whyte while also being deluded as to how good Whyte actually is. Their reactions weren't that of people who expected a 50-50 fight (or for Povetkin to have any kind of success) but rather of people who didn't think Povetkin had a chance at all.

They were saying **** like 'shocking result,' Eddie said he feels like he's dreaming. People on here were saying it was surreal. There were people that didn't give Povetkin a chance at all. They truly believed the hype and have been overrating Whyte for years. They didn't think 40 year old Povetkin would do ***** against someone who they thought was on Fury and AJ's level regardless of what they were saying before the fight. The reaction didn't match the '50-50 fight, Pov is still dangerous' narrative they had before the fight.
