I think it would be pretty hard for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to run out of money because he can make easy money knocking out kickboxers in Japan if nothing else.

De La Hoya will probably overdose on ******* before he fights again.

But in case he survives, he could fight Kalle Sauerland.

But the truth of the matter is this.

None of the fights you listed draw casual cash, because the mainstream doesn't know who ANY of those guys are except Manny. And even Manny doesn't draw 'huge' without fighting someone who can carry the fight promotion.

          Tyson draws huge.
          De La Hoya draws huge.
          Holyfield draws huge.

The current crop don't come close. Not at all.

The sport needs characters and crossover visibility. It doesn't have them except Tyson Fury.

          You still living in 2001.

Nobody is gonna buy a de la hoya ppv or jones vs tyson exhibition in 2020.

Its just fun to talk about.

Apparently someone forgot that KSI/Logan Paul drew MILLIONS of people. To the point that the rematch generated more revenue than AJ/Ruiz 2 - which means it generated more than any of the other fighters outside of possibly Tyson Fury.

I'll do a Loser Leaves NSB bet with you that Mike Tyson's ONE exhibition draws more money than all of Crawford's 147 fights combined.

Do you want that smoke? Or do you want to rethink what you just suggested?

As far as De La Hoya...Mexican fans are the ONLY thing keeping boxing alive today. They are dedicated and firmly planted in supporting their own no matter what happens. Thus why Chavez Jr. keeps getting big fights - his name sells tickets even though he's not worth a damn.

If De La Hoya were to get in there with someone like Canelo at the high end or Maravilla at the low end, or Floyd rematch at the extreme (since they're both old anyway), and you seriously don't think that sells HUGE? You're nuts.

First off. KSI vs Logan wasnt on ppv. Tyson vs jones jr will be on ppv and it wont do 500k ppv. Take that bet. Loser has to leave nsb

And crawford isnt a ppv attraction. So of course tyson should generate more than him

Lastly. De la hoya vs floyd is floyd selling the ppv. Not oscar. Floyd is the ppv king not oscar. So de la would get no credit for a successful ppv rematch against floyd. Floyd is involved in the top 4 fights ever. Lets see oscar fight somebody other than floyd and do 400k homes in 2020. Floyd could fight you and sell 400k ppv.

De la hoya vs maravilla wouldnt sell ****.

And cut it out with this Mexican keeping boxing alive bull****. All the biggest fights ever involve black fighters. Not mexicans. The biggest fight of this year didnt involve a mexican. It was a black man vs a gypsy

It didn't need to be. They're YouTube stars.

Done. And what I said was, Tyson vs. whoever, because Jones may pull out. So don't duck it if it ends up being Tyson vs. Holyfield 3 or Tyson vs. David Tua or Tyson vs. Briggs.

That's because I'm a cruiserweight compared to him.

But what you said is a joke. De La Hoya vs. Carnelo pulls a million, easy, even on PPV.

That was not the biggest fight of the year. Walk down the street and ask people who Deontay Wilder just fought and see if you get an intelligent reply.

Chavez Sr. just sold out an arena at damn near 60 years old.

I know it bothers you. I know you don't want to accept this. But it's the truth - it's BUSINESS.

The current crop of fighters are not a DRAW! None of them. Tyson Fury barely is and mostly because of WWE which gave him major news coverage.

Any of these old legends can come back and pull a million people EASILY simply on their name value.

I'm done telling you what you know to be true.

What was the biggest fight of the year?

You dont know **** about boxing if your answer is chavez sr fighting in mexico where tickets cost 3 dollars. Gtfoh.

Wilder vs fury 2 generated the most money in 2020. This is a fact not an opinion. Look it up. Chavez sr filling up a mexican arena didnt make more money than fury vs wilder 2. 800k ppv at 80 dollars a pop. You do the math smart guy. And thats not including ticket sales

And canelo isnt fighting de la hoya. So stop. You keep tryna put oscar in a fight where he isnt the star. Floyd, canelo. Whats next pacquiao rematch?

No. Im talking about de la hoya vs anybody thats not already a ppv star. he wont do 500k.
