Decent, but against a nobody. No idea how to qualify this performance. Appeared to still have power and speed. Took a couple flush shots, and walked right through them. His knee still appears very suspect.

Fights currently up on YouTube in its entirety. I assume Oscar de la Hoya ba Sergio Martinez fight will be announced shortly. Feels like a no brainer.

Haven't seen it yet, but based on the pre-fight pics he looks to have gotten himself in excellent shape. Not sure if that transferred to the fight though.

He needs to only fight bums and Oscar De La Hoyas from here on out

Just watched it he put it on the guy with a lot of body shots knocked him out Saul Roman style. He honestly looked better than what I expected but like someone said his knees still look shot he has the power his jab was rocking the guy he was engaging a lot too but I would just like to see him retire with this win would be good he might still have enough to beat someone like Munguia but I don't think he would offer anything to the elite middleweights maybe him and Kermit Cintron can rematch.

Thanks just watched the highlights and from what I saw he looked good all things considered (age, knee, ring rust). That knee did look suspect but it’s in wayyyyy better shape than it was for Cotto. Interested in seeing where he goes from here.

I really can’t see Oscar coming back tbh. If he does I think he probably gets beat up by Sergio

He looked better than I expected. He was in good shape and threw lots of punches...slipped well and his knee looked fine. He didn't fight a high-level opponent (and I don't think he's planing on doing so) but you could see he could still fight. Maybe he and Oscar could make some money fighting each other...I'd pick Martinez easy.
