The lack of college football on ESPN this fall is a good thing for Golden Boy. Canelo has shown he can bring subscribers to an app and ESPN is interested for the Plus app. Might get an exclusive PPV deal on the app like UFC
Amazon Live is another discussion
But all of this is just preliminary.
I could see Showtime working with Canelo the same way they have worked with Pacquiao in recent years.Comment

Former junior welterweight world titlist Regis Prograis, who last week worked out a separation agreement from promoter Lou DiBella and became a free agent, will have his next fight under the Premier Boxing Champions banner, multiple sources told BoxingScene on Friday. Prograis will face unbeaten Juan Heraldez in a 10-round junior welterweight fight on Oct. 24 at the Mohegan Sun resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. The bout will be part of the Showtime PPV card headlined by the lightweight and junior lightweight title fight between Gervonta Davis and Leo Santa Cruz.

Ramirez and Taylor will probably fight each other after their next fights and then the winner would face Crawford. Prograis would've gotten lost in the mix. At his age I don't think he doesn't have the luxury of waiting for the bigger fightsComment
