He was talking like he was a big shot 6 months ago or so. Said he knew a guy in talks to see if Netflix would end up with the rights to the Cobra Kai show series (they just did.)

Googled it and the thread must have been deleted. Only one with a Cobra Kai mention exists and it’s from 2019.

I bring it up because in the same thread the guy made some crazy boxing claim that I can’t recall. I just remember it sounding off the rails but not so much anymore since he may actually be some sort of insider after all.

I remember Don Hoskins, from the mid 2000s. One of the better wannabes we ever had here on Boxing Scene. Anybody know what happened to him? Had a few amateur fights and used to think he was Roy Jones, was great entertainment.

If that is the guy you are talking about, you shouldn't take anything he says seriously. He posts garbage constantly, never posts links with his wild claims, and they almost always turn out to fake news. Even a stopped clock is right twice per day though!
