It wasn’t the worst decision I’ve ever seen but there’s no way to score that fight for Taylor. A draw wouldn’t been generous too.

I don’t think it’s simply the fact that Taylor got the decision that annoys people, it’s the fact that it was absolutely inevitable that she was going to get a decision in any fight that is remotely competitive, a bit like a Canelo fight.

Persoon was never getting the win unless it was one sided from start to finish. That’s the problem.
It was off by ONE round on two cards. That's not a robbery!

Well maybe not, but my point was that Persoon was NEVER getting the decision anyway, and everyone knows it. The narrative around the fight from Matchroom was Katie’s undisputed dream. There was no way she was never not getting a decision unless she got battered from pillar to post for every second.

I mean it really comes down to peoples definition of robbery but pretty much nobody at all had Taylor winning. When that happens, I think it’s pretty clear you never won, so you could say it was a robbery. Even the sky cheerleaders in commentary never had her winning.

        Thank you, REDEEMER. Thank you.
People will just see what they want to see , most don’t count punches they look at someone being aggressive and buy into a better then expected fight so that tends to give a challenger more notice if a big shot lands or momentum shifting .

Anyone scoring though had Taylor winning . I believe the rematch will be a boxing lesson in a lopsided but competitive rounds for Taylor with no struggle for anyone to pick a winner .

Again, I have no issue with people feeling that Persoon did enough in a CLOSE fight.

What I don't agree with is the idea that nobody can find 5 rounds for Taylor.

Because if you can find 5 rounds that's a draw. If you considered one of the Persoon rounds a swing round, that gives a case for Taylor depending on what the judges look for .

I said it before. People love constant aggressors. That's what Persoon was. But people are acting like Taylor wasn't landing on that face, frequently.

It was a close fight. Persoon was eating too many punches. If she had better defense against the Amir Khan flurries, she might have been able to convince the judges.
