Curious: Why does NSB say that Taylor robbed Persoon...?

I didn't do a full scorecard. I can, but I don't think it's necessary.

That was a close fight just watching it. A lot of rounds hard to score. Both their faces told a story that it wasn't one-sided.

It's like people expected Taylor to blow Persoon out and are punishing her because she was confronted with a relentless aggressor with a good chin and she fought a ****** strategy (basically she fought the Estrada strategy against Srisaket in the first fight, which was also razor close).

Basically Taylor fought like a female Amir Khan instead of a female Devin Haney, and Persoon roughed her up.

Yet, you complained when Horn treated Manny the same way.

You complained when Romero treated Marinez the same way.

It's like you're inconsistent.

Chino = you were all in when he was overly aggressive, bullying, clinching, hitting in the clinch, etc. Same with Persoon.

Yet when Horn, Srisaket, Romero, Porter, etc. do it, you're not down with it and you call their outcomes robberies.

Why? Why are you not consistent?

Only clear rounds I gave to Persoon was 8 and 10. She was sloppy ,missed most power shots ,fell off balance and tried winning rounds in clinch at the end of most but she was clearly out scored that’s why her face looked like that in the end .

I gave Persoon rounds 5, 8, and 10 ,even if I gave her another I didn’t see her winning ,a last round domination doesn’t give her the fight ,she was thoroughly out boxed .

It's the same thing though. Persoon came off like Horn in there - yet when it's her, people say she 'clearly' won. Despite her using many of the same tactics including excessive clinching and hitting in the clinch. So why aren't people criticizing that like they did Horn?

Two reasons

1. Taylor was a clear favourite expected to win every round, so fans always give close rounds to the underdog in those situations

2. She's a matchroom fighter

Because (a) Horn was not supposed to beat Packy, (b) because anyone who beats Packy is a cheater of some kind, (c) Because Horn was a foreigner.

She did win that fight though

It wasn’t the worst decision I’ve ever seen but there’s no way to score that fight for Taylor. A draw wouldn’t been generous too.

I don’t think it’s simply the fact that Taylor got the decision that annoys people, it’s the fact that it was absolutely inevitable that she was going to get a decision in any fight that is remotely competitive, a bit like a Canelo fight.

Persoon was never getting the win unless it was one sided from start to finish. That’s the problem.
