  • Comments Thread For: Hunter Backs Povetkin To Beat Whyte: A Knockout is Very Possible

Heavyweight contender Michael Hunter is backing Alexander Povetkin to come away with a victory on Saturday night at Matchroom's Fight Camp in Brentwood. Povetkin will face WBC interim-champion Dillian Whyte, with the winner moving forward as the mandatory challenger to world champion Tyson Fury.

I agree with Hunter. There is something a bit more polished about Povetkin. He has the power and I've seen him hit everyone good and clean except probably Wladimir and Marco Huck. Huck gave him the same kind of problems that Hunter did, and if Dillian can fight in that kind of style it would be interesting, but I don't think he can.

It would simply be the one of the greatest HW nights in memory if big mouth cheater mediocrity Whyte was rolled. Povetkin is also a cheater, but the level of crooked bribes and payoffs done to salvage the career of Whyte makes Vladimir ***** look ethical

Hunter is just hoping so that he looks good. No chance Povetkin can stand up to Whyte or any big guy at this point in his career.

Whyte isn't even thinking about Povetkin, he is obsessed with Fury, who barely acknowledges that clown. He may very well lose and can go back to telling sparring stories for attention.

Then what happens to Whyte's WBC mandatory status if he loses?

I remember last year when whyte was obsessed with AJ fight. But when contract to fight aj unexpectedly arrived, whyte the fraud coward went silent and has never mentioned AJ again since.

Whyte loves to call out top fighters he has no chance of fighting and are booked to fight other people. As we see again here.

I expect a early KO for Povetkin or a late stoppage by Whyte
