They obviously haven’t. I would say they have “Screw” themselves if they weren’t allowed to approve or sanction who he fights. Currently they do have to approve who he fights, which means he isn’t going to be fighting gimme fights, they already gave him his gimme/welcome fight in Fielding, I guess this is why Wilder ran away from 100/120m, he wouldn’t have been able to cherrypick who he wants after his gimme fight with Breazeale, he wouldn’t have been approved for Ortiz rematch, it would have been Joshua, Fury, Whyte type of opponents or you get paid half sort of thing. And am glad DAZN are putting their foot in on Canelo.

equity is upside partner. he gets $14 mil per bum hunt. The guy has zero following and a "Mexican Style" gggimmick and dazn exec fell for it. Did anyone do research on his numbers? Did anyone notice he only did somewhere between 90k-120k on a ppv?

Canelo has a mexican core which gets his fights free on azteca? why would they pay for it? his american base is overwhelming mexican. i live in socal. non-mexicans aren't running to the tube for a canelo fight. plus he has no definitive wins, controversy.

dazn should have used that 400 mil plus hearns 1 bil and package 50 or so of the top prospects and built them.

withouy nfl, nba, etc, their move into the market was going to be slow, so build it slow vs a cash burning rush job.
