This sounds more serious than Tyson's one off vs RJJ. I'm not a fan of it + ancient lower weight fighters tend to not fare as well at advanced ages where speed, reflexes & athleticism matters more. That said you could find pro boxers my 16 year old cousin, who's probably never had a fight, could KO so it's not like it's hard to line up some bs fights to notch some W's.

At that age, you fight in spurts, you don't throw that many punches of course, as when younger, but there is a path to victory.
Hopkins treated his body like a temple. DLH abused his with hard drugs and alcohol.

What's sad is no matter where DLH decides to do this, that State's Athletic Commission will license him.
I agree, boxing has no real governing structure, just a bunch of paper organizations that will take pay to pretend that they are.

In addition, there really needs to be some sort therapy for fighters who can’t seem to put the gloves down.

Casuals need to stop supporting these freak show fights. The more people buy into them - the more we will get. Eventually an old fighter will die and they will stop giving out licences - all so predictable.

              Respect to a true OG.
I bet he still has some pop on that jab. He was a zombi for the Pac fight.
              De La Hoya ducked nobody.

I never understood why oscar agreed and weighed in so low vs pacman. Thats was so dangerous to do to his body.

Id like to see oscar fight someone like danny garcia or sergio martinez at 154-160 pounds . That would be a fair fight
