Of course it is "Provisions" In Canelo's Contract
It is not a contract in which Canelo can Fight whoever he wants for $35-40 Million a Fight. Not only that I'm also sure it is "Options" as well as "OUT CLAUSES" that can be activated for specific Reasons like maybe due to "Marketing Conditions" or in this case "Lack Of Subscribers" or expectations are not being met and Canelo not moving the Needle and giving them a boost in Subs that they expected when they did this deal
This is the right move for DAZN though, make no sense to put up big money for a fight of his Caliber which will not move the Needle for DAZN at all nor Boost or Bring Back Subscribers after this Crazy Pandemic which is what the desperately need right now. So Skipper and DAZN are right for putting their Foot Down because it is their Money!

There's no way the DAZN contract could give them the right to pick Canelo's opponents since sanctioning bodies often mandate fights. The best they have is probably the right to "suggest" opponents.
His first fight on DAZN was Rocky Fielding, a guy who was second echelon and had a secondary belt. DAZN can't argue this is any worse because it's a secondary guy for a real divisional belt.
In other words...DAZN is screwed because, push come to shove, they have zero legs to stand on.

The other part folks may need to keep in mind is that Canelo has complete deniability when it comes to Yildirim.
Canelo's folks didn't ask to fight Yildirim.
They asked for a shot at the vacant belt.
Supposedly, the WBC convention met to decide who would get that shot...but they also had more than that on the agenda.
One other thing they decided was whether or not Yildirim would keep his place as the mandatory.
So technically, Canelo can argue he didn't know WHO they'd make him fight (of course we know they wanted Yildirim but proving it might be another matter).
Again, I don't think DAZN is going to win this if it gets in front of a judge.

That's right, youre not a boxing fan, you're just a Canelo stalking fan girl who prays for the day that Canelo will allow him to touch his beard. Ya lil Phag.

DAZN supposedly said canelo. Needed to fight too opposition, yildirim is the mandatory meaning ranked number 1 you don’t get any more top then that unless you’re a champion... DAZN will get sued and will lose. Canelo needs to get out of that contract and be a free agent have the networks bid on his services on a per fight basis and he will earn far more than the 30+ guarantee anyway... Easy
