Thank God they won't let chicken sht Canelo fight this joke of a fight. I've never seen someone run so fast from Beterbiev. Him and his fans should be ashamed.

Give your head a wobble and get a life. Is GGG being paid 30m+ per fight? No. Ya crack head.

Alvarez is a much better inside fighter and body puncher than Ryder, Smith just doesn't have that slick style to bother Canelo.

Smith doesn't have Kovalev's jab to keep Alvarez with a high tight guard, he would use that upperbody movement like Ryder and counter the hell out to his body.

But it's just me, fight could actually play very different.
Styles make fights; Ryder is specifically an inside fighter and takes it to his opponent; Canelo is a counter puncher that favours fighting at range. Can he fight in the inside? Of course. Would he do it like Ryder? I doubt it. Regardless, it's still the best matchup for a vacant WBC title. Yildrim got ****** out by Eubank for fúck sake. It would be a glorified sparring session against Canelo lol

Again, give your head a wobble. There's a significant difference between $10m and $30m, it's called $20m. An amount which no American has made since Mayweather, just saying.

And that's the first fight Canelo's lawyers will bring up when they successfully sue DAZN for the full amount of this installment.

There's no way the DAZN contract could give them the right to pick Canelo's opponents since sanctioning bodies often mandate fights. The best they have is probably the right to "suggest" opponents.

His first fight on DAZN was Rocky Fielding, a guy who was second echelon and had a secondary belt. DAZN can't argue this is any worse because it's a secondary guy for a real divisional belt.

In other words...DAZN is screwed because, push come to shove, they have zero legs to stand on.

To be fair, I think that fight was free. You didn't need a subscription for that one if I remember correctly.

                  They could use that.

DAZN management has always been incompetent. When they tried to play hardball last year they ended up with egg in the face. It's going to happen again. All they're doing is laying seeds of doubt with the promoter that is responsible for attaining 90% of their subscribers.

Someone else's contract has nothing to do with Saul contract. Like most media outlet, they probably have the right to last refusal in the contract...a network would be crazy if they didn't.

That's why HBO, Showtime, ESPN, etc would refuse certain fights.
