LOL, I didn't even see this thread, just made observations of Canelo and his fights off the top of my head.

Face of boxing since Lara fight - Angulo (shot), Kirkland (shot), Cotto (over-the-hill), Khan (cherry), Liam (cherry b/c Andrade had the WBO), Chavez Jr (shot cherry), GGGimmick I (2nd defeat), GGGimmick II (legit win), Jacobs (ok boxer but no HofF level), Kovalev (double rehydration cherry). Basically, it's alot of recognizable names but not a lot real fights. I'm not sure if Canelo is the male version of Amanda Serrano, a division jumper who grabs opportunitic fights.

Oops. I forgot Fielding. Now, how could I miss that?

To be fair...while Canelo does have his Rocky Fieldings and Yildrim fights, he does ultimately always give us the fights we want like GGG twice and Daniel Jacobs and those are fights fans said he would DUCK

So yeah I'm not going to get all upset with Canelo over one fight because I'm positive after this he will come right back with a fight the fans want either Charlo, Plant, Callum Smith or BJS one of those guys then after he beat them it will be excuses and fans are going to want MORE!

However, Canelo and his fans must understand, as the face of boxing it comes with the Territory. This is the same thing some of yall did to Mayweather you always wanted more and it was nothing he could ever do to make everybody happy. Canelo have to deal with the same thing and it is not going to stop fans are going to want more and more until he retires!

I asked for Andrade in an undisputed fight on DAZN but canelo let the belts go. Don't tell me the bodies strip cashcows b/c they don't. The question is, how does his feet stuck in the sand now deal with a FMW and Lara type fighter and Andrade is much more rangy fighter? Based his fights since Lara, Andrade's skillset is levels above and he'll be hard to drainor catchweight him, it's a straight shot like FMW and Lara. 2 times he has ducked the fight. I'm assuming he'll wait until Andrade has soem kind of injury

Him being the face of boxing is BS too. He's only popular in USA and Mexico.
