Looks like he's stayin at 168...

David Benavidez doesn’t think his failure Friday to make weight is evidence that he needs to move up to the 175-pound division. The former WBC super middleweigh

Isn't Beterbiev contracted to Top Rank? I'm not sure that's a fight both the PBC and ESPN / TR are going to get together to make. There's better fights at 168 for him now with Canelo looking to be a permanent Super Middleweight.

The real question is will Canelo face Benavidez at 168 and if he does what kind of weight clauses is he going to hit him with?

      Lmfao.

PBC should just sign Zurdo and start building that fight up with Benavidez which can be a huge fight

I don't give a SH^T about these Belts anymore it is just too many of them and all of these Belt Organization are so corrupt. Arum owns the WBO, Haymon owns the WBA, Canelo owns the WBC ...at least the IBF is some what consistent and stick to their own Rules and Rankings and are not just selling and auctioning off Ranking Positions to the highest bidder like the rest

Not so sure about Benavidez being done with 168 though, maybe after the Pandemic and he is able to train in his own gym outside of the fight Bubble he would be able to make 168 again. Beterbiev probably end up Franchise or some BS leaving the WBC Belt for Benavidez and Ramirez to fight for who are currently #1 and #2 by the WBC at 175 ironically enough

Benavidez vs Pascal, Zurdo Ramirez vs Marcus Browne all on one Card and currently ranked #1, #2, #3 and #4 on the WBC Rankings make it happen! Nice Round-Robin Tournament at 175. Winners fight each other

What Canelo holds is a lot of white guilt. He feels if he fights a normal mexican (brown skin) that his people back home wont accept him because hes a white man beating a brown. He really needs to forget about all that stuff and just fight his fellow mexicans.

For his health, keep my man Pascal away from Beterbiev. Rematch Browne and/or Jack and call it a day champ!
