Very bad fight. At Canelo's level and for what his contract with DAZN pays him, the fact that a fight like this is even being considered for him is sad and insulting to boxing fans. If you're considered an "elite" fighter, you should not be fighting fringe contenders at this point in your career.

since you want to stick to facts. Do you have a credible link proving any of what you wrote? I'd like to see where it says that at canelos request, Charlo was offered 12 million and this be publicly stated by Oscar. Also indications that it was actually 15. All I've seen is a Coke rant where Oscar says a lucrative offer was made to someone on chsrkos team. No specifics on the offer or mention of actually talking to Haymon, you know the guy who makes all decisions for PBS fighters.

I read that Canelo was pushing for the fight but can't recall the source. The fact is that offers do not take place without the approval of Canelo and his team. Moreover, when asked about a fight between Canelo and Charlo, Eddy Reynoso said, "Easy work" or something to that effect. The video which is in Spanish was produced by Little Giant Boxing"

Al Haymon is a mystery to me. Apparently he is an advisor. Why does the advisor make all the decisions as you put it. As you undoubtedly know, the Charlos have their own promotion company so it is appropriate to make an offer to the promoter of the fighter. He or she, in turn, can then seek advice from the "advisor" or anyone else for that matter. Keep in mind that as late as a couple of days ago, Jermell was complaining about Jermall turning down a fight with Canelo and saying he does not duck anyone or words to the effect. Absolute BS of the highest order with that Mexican chit-c u n t Mauricio Sulaimán looking out for his own. First he protected Canelo from having to fight Charlo and now this... I mean look at the WBC rankings at 168 ffs! Canelo is nowhere to be seen in the top 15! What is the point of even having rankings at this point if somebody can seemingly just come in from out of nowhere and leapfrog everybody?

That franchise concept is a load of crap - lets face it it was only made to ensure it makes the WBC more money, we all know this, although awarding it to a convicted PED user is highly controversial. As for the fight - another garbage fighter for Canelo to win yet another vacant title from, nothing groundbreaking as usual. At least boxing purists can see it for what it is - let all the Mexican chit-c u n t casuals and women scream for their ginger PED using hero...

WBC is in bed with canelo. Canelo has nothing to do with the WBC rankings. They should have let the no.1 and 2 ranked guys fight for the vacant title, and the winner will probably face benavidez if he can still make weight. If no, then callum smith, being the WBC diamond champ should get his shot at the winner. Canelo just comes in and gets a title shot is weird and looks bad for the WBC. WBC is doing all they can to make canelo happy and don't want to step on his toes. Pathetic...
