Comments Thread For: Parker Hopes Increased Offer Will Get Junior Fa Fight Finalized

David Higgins, manager for former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, is hoping that their increased off will get a deal finalized for the New Zealand grudge fight with unbeaten Junior Fa. Before, Fa and his handlers rejected an offer of a $300,000 guarantee with a share of the pay-per-view.

I can't disagree with this statement. Everytime I read or hear his comments, I get incredibly annoyed at the arrogance. I can only imagine how painful it must be to try and work with him in putting together a fight.

Parker should own Fa. I was really interested in Fa and his development... then it never happened. He is quite the same boxer as when he popped out of the womb.

Take the money, Mr. Fa. Train hard. Throw all your effort into this fight, which your countrymen will eat up, like your livelihood depends on it. Because Parker is your better in about 17 of 20 categories of boxing and I feel this is your only real payday coming. The ONLY chance you have is to be competitive and prove you are not wasted space.

Junior Fa rejecting 300k plus PPV shares is ridiculous. He's literally not getting a PPV bout with anyone else - fact is, the draw here is Parker and this fight being a local one. Fa hasn't done anything to justify that money, and on the market right now, he's not going to get it anywhere else.

          Greed and ******ity.

What is Parker still doing with Higgins? His career has been on a standstill since Joshua UD
