I've asked everyone I know who follows boxing and everyone said they would tune in to watch Crawford-Thurman, I don't really see why the fight can't get made. Crawford-Thurman is definitely a PPV fight and it would definitely sell and make money. There are no valid excuses to not make this fight and it is the best available opponent for him who will ACTUALLY fight him. Crawford could get Vergil Ortiz or Boots Ennis but I highly doubt Bob would make either of those fights, too much risk for no reward.

Keith has a marketable brand and Crawford, without Pacquiao money, is a high wire act without a net. A slip and you're dead.
This fight has zero chance of happening. I don't blame Keith for demanding Pacquiao money or Arum for refusing a money losing fight.
If Arum is going to pay Manny money why not get the real thing. If Keith wants big money he can fight the winner of Spence vs Garcia and if it's Danny the table is set for much bigger money and a potential rematch with Pacquio

Terence Crawford’s manager, BoMac, wants the Thurman side to be the one making the offer and putting up the money. Does this mean Crawford is willing to fight on a PBC platform or does this mean Crawford doesn’t want the fight? 🧐 pic.twitter.com/2LC0A8U0T5
— Most Valid Opinion MVO Uncensored Podcast (@izdatyofaceee) August 18, 2020I just don’t get it. Crawford and Co. should be ecstatic that Thurman wants to come to his side of the street and fight him. It’s the sort of thing he’s been waiting for. Instead they seem upset by it and shut it down out of hand. Make it make sense! Please! pic.twitter.com/bjjpCtRDyB

Haymon ruined Thurman's career. Thurman was ready for stardom and a super fight when he was KOing Quintana, Chaves, and Karass. But Haymon did not deliver Floyd. And so then Thurman began to decline and lost motivation and his results became less impressive.
Floyd and Haymon ruined Thurman just like they did Paul Williams, who would have eaten Floyd alive at 147.
Floyd would have knocked Floyd out cold in a real fight. But he was blocked out. It's a shame.
If Boxing was real and not all rigged, Haymon would have forced Floyd to fight Thurman and not all those hired paid off patsies like berto guerrero marquez ortiz maidana etc.

Obviously Keith wants guaranteed money. If fighters simply asked for a PPV percentage every dream fight would be signed by Wednesday. In reality, if the fighter is big enough for a PPV they will always demand a guarantee, that's the way it works.
As for Ennis & Ortiz, they look promising but lets not forget, they are in a building stage fighting guys they are supposed to beat.

There's no excuse for this fight not getting made. If Top Rank is so concerned about the numbers then let them do a co-promotion with the PBC in order to make up for the loss revenue. Haymon would do at least half on the fight.

Keith wants Guaranteed money and Bob doesn't believe the money is there. It's not complicated, there is no conspiracy and neither is afraid of fighting, it's all about the money.
