People need to be real about Dillian Whyte and stop getting triggered.

He's fighting Povetkin this weekend and from threads on here plenty people have been either straight picking Povetkin or else doing the classic "I won't be surprised if Povetkin wins" which everyone knows is setting up deniability.

Now listen, I don't like the pea headed annoying idiot either, but don't play baby games.

He should beat Povetkin this weekend, I WOULD be surprised if Povetkin wins, I mean Pov is like 10 years past when he was peaking. His last fight he arguably lost to Hunter, he should lose.

Obviously he CAN win, but he's a real outsider and I don't expect it.

See now when Whyte wins, I already called it, was real about it and won't look silly.

All those people picking Povetkin or else doing the old "I won't be surprised..." if you try to not give Whyte any credit after, will look ******.

I haven’t seen one person pick Povetkin but at the same time I’m not paying any attention to this fight at all.

Povetkin is way past his best but I'm not sure who will win this fight. I think considering Povetkin's age and wear & tear I'd have to favour Whyte. Whyte also has a height and arm reach advantage. Interesting fight though.

Dillian Whyte may well be burnt out 'He has gone beyond and above the call of duty many times'.

There’s nothing wrong with people saying they wouldn’t be surprised if Povetkin wins though.

People talk like Whyte has been going through a murderers row of opponents and destroying them, which is absolute nonsense. He has been having a life-and-death fights with Chisora and Parker, Neither of which are that good.

I do think Dillian should win because Povetkin hasn’t looked good for a few years now and he’s nearly 41, but we have yet to see Whyte convincingly beat a good opponent without problems. Even Rivas had him down.

I think it’s just a case of him looking vulnerable any time he’s had a good opponent, some of which aren’t that good. That’ll catch up with him soon, but it just depends if a 41 year old Povetkin can do that, probably not at this point.

Povetkin it will be decent for three rounds. But the reality is they have picked him for a reason, because he’s 41 and faded. They know he is there for the taking.

If Whyte doesn't win then he may aswell call it a day..

I predict an 9th round stoppage of whatever sought..

I think he's due a tanking but it won't be against Povetkin...

It's a harder fight than Whyte needed to take.

No fight is 100%. The art of matchmaking is picking something that is interesting enough to get the PPV sales, but you think you know more about why it's not really that close.

Povetkin may be past it but he's still got quality and experience. He's not a no-hoper.

But yeah, it's team Whyte's pick. He should win. And it would still be a decent win.

Whyte terrifed wilder and haymon and fury also seems to be in mayweather duck mode on Whyte too. Whyte is terrorizing the hwt division with his fearless risk taking for four fights in a row with the WBC mandatory in his pocket. Incredible cojones by Dillian Whyte, the anti mayweather fraud coward pretender con artist
