He acted a bit funny when Errol's name was brought up, but honestly it's not like that fight was ever seriously discussed or anything. This guy kept getting injured and fought Porter/DSG back to back and got hurt again while Errol's career took off.

Keef's resume is ROCK solid though. If he truly is serious, I hope Crawford and his team send him an offer. This is also a fight you can put on PPV as Thurman has consistently done big ratings and just did a PPV against Pacquiao that came close to 500k buys.

I'm probably one of the few that wouldn't mind Brook either for Crawford, but Thurman is also a good option.

I'd argue the Errol fight never got seriously discussed cuz he didn't want it & acted like it was the cash out fight at the end of the rainbow of his career.

But yea I'm not insulting his credentials or anything. He's fought top guys & been neck n neck or better with the best of them & only came out on the losing end to a legend. I just find his mindset interesting.

That said I'm curious if he'll want more money guaranteed than Arum would be willing to give him or if he's willing to "cross the street" at all since up til this point he's been a PBC poster boy.

Crawford is currently negotiating to fight Pac. Thurman has nothing to offer and lost to an old man so he needs to wait until his number is called or start negotiating with Brook and argue over who is the "A" side.

I think Mikey gets that Pac fight, especially if it's up to Freddie Roach!

Crawford would fight Alvarado and his dumbass bunboys would see 0 issue with it. They wouldn't care that Alvarado has no belt since he's Crawford's typical bum type of opponent and no threat.

Of course, they might even send it and he would waste everyone time. If he really wants the fight then he should get Haymon to send the contract. These guys are time wasters and clout chaser. Not point in chasing or trying to deal with them unless they are the ones making the offers.

Then why doesn't he fight them? What's preventing him? He keeps defeating these cherrypicked bums over at Top Rank.

I'm sure his next fight will be a step up. With so many calling him out he can't fight a Khan type again.

I mean if you look at it, Spence got the title and his big shot in May of 2017. Just a few months prior, Keith had defeated DSG. And his previous fight was against Porter. At no time during that stretch did a Spence fight make sense to him over the other two. Now, after Spence became a champ and ultimately improved his star power? Keith got hurt and was out for damn near two years before returning to fight Lopez in what was supposed to be a tune up. After that? He fights Pacquiao which NO ONE should ever blame for fighting over Spence.
