That's silly talk, and I'm sure you know it. Unless Wilder redeems himself by regaining the WBC belt, there's no way Hearn and AJ would want to risk losing out on the biggest fight in world boxing - vs Fury - by fighting Deontay.Comment

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, I did mean should Wilder win.
All things considered, no matter how dramatic the win, it's Wilder's third crack. I think he comes out of Wilder-Fury looking more beatable than he goes in where as Fury looks more unbeatable than ever, and, one loss to a man who had three tries won't change that.
You know, I'm a big Wilder fan. If Deontay wants to prove to me he is actually better than Tyson now, he has to beat Fury twice at least.
Transitively, for me to believe anyone has an edge on Fury I need to see Fury fail multiple times to make sure the vulnerability is real and difficult for him to overcome.Comment

This is why it's difficult to debate on here. You guys turn facts around to try and suit your agenda. Wilder was offered the Whyte fight numerous times and at the time it would have been his highest purse ever. He ran and ducked.Comment

Hearn confirmed he received the offer via email. AJ said give me $50M and I’ll sign tomorrow therefore 24 hours was more than enough time. Also the offer was given in April but the offer was still available in June so it wasn’t 24 hour deadlineComment

canelo fighting bums wilder is offer was for the top prize in all of sports!! undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. AJ and Hearn wasn’t serious or they would’ve let wilder know the split. If the flat fee was a good offer why didn’t hearn and AJ offer the same to fury? Because they knew Arum would’ve told the go PhUCK themselvesComment

Eddie Hearn is saying that he has it both from his lawyers and from Sulaiman that the winner of Fury/Wilder 3 would have to fight Whyte next - if he beats Povetkin. Sulaiman told Sky Sports the same thing.I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, I did mean should Wilder win.

Eddie also says AJ has told him that whoever ends up with the WBC belt, that's who he wants after Pulev.Comment

It was also confirmed - by Frank Warren - that if AJ had accepted that offer he would have been committed to fighting Wilder on BT in the UK, which would have cost him 50% of his purse in a penalty fee to Sky Sports.
There was a reason why Finkel refused to tell Hearn anything about what AJ would have to agree to to get his 50 million dollars, unless he verbally accepted it first. That was it.Comment

Fury specifically asked Hearn for a flat fee guarantee offer to fight AJ, instead of a percentage split, then turned it down because it wasn't high enough.canelo fighting bums wilder is offer was for the top prize in all of sports!! undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. Everybody knew and accepted that the huge guarantees DAZN were offering back then were viewed as investments for the future by Skipper and Co, and that even match ups like Canelo vs GGG would lose money in the short term.
Serious question for you, my friend ... do you really believe that 2 fights between AJ and Wilder, streamed on "Deadzone" in 2019, would have attracted enough new subscribers to pay Wilder anything near $80million, if he'd been on a percentage of the money raised?Comment

You’re spitting too much knowledge for these fools - sometimes you’ve just got to stop trying to reason with such sycophants and brainless groupies.Fury specifically asked Hearn for a flat fee guarantee offer to fight AJ, instead of a percentage split, then turned it down because it wasn't high enough.
