All things considered, no matter how dramatic the win, it's Wilder's third crack. I think he comes out of Wilder-Fury looking more beatable than he goes in where as Fury looks more unbeatable than ever, and, one loss to a man who had three tries won't change that.
You know, I'm a big Wilder fan. If Deontay wants to prove to me he is actually better than Tyson now, he has to beat Fury twice at least.
Transitively, for me to believe anyone has an edge on Fury I need to see Fury fail multiple times to make sure the vulnerability is real and difficult for him to overcome.

Wilder was guaranteed $40million for each of 2 fights against AJ. That's a bigger flat fee per fight than Canelo's.

Eddie also says AJ has told him that whoever ends up with the WBC belt, that's who he wants after Pulev.

There was a reason why Finkel refused to tell Hearn anything about what AJ would have to agree to to get his 50 million dollars, unless he verbally accepted it first. That was it.

Because they knew Arum would’ve told the go PhUCK themselves
Everybody knew and accepted that the huge guarantees DAZN were offering back then were viewed as investments for the future by Skipper and Co, and that even match ups like Canelo vs GGG would lose money in the short term.
Serious question for you, my friend ... do you really believe that 2 fights between AJ and Wilder, streamed on "Deadzone" in 2019, would have attracted enough new subscribers to pay Wilder anything near $80million, if he'd been on a percentage of the money raised?
