Canelo should go fight Charlo, as soon as Charlo became his mandatory they invented this Franchise champ crap
You fans still don’t get the politics. Lol. (I’m not making fun of you, just in general). GBP doesn’t like to work with Al Haymon. GBP easily persuaded Team Canelo of the ramification of purse bids or splits when Haymon is involved.

I don’t even understand the hype for Yildirim. This guy got blasted by Eubank Jr. The reason why the current situation is better is because it removes or puts Haymon in check. Now GBP and Matchroom can get the nod. HOWEVER, Eddie Hearn could easily play devils advocate with the WBC and BEG that Smith vs Yildirim should happen. It’s an attempt to put Canelo on the sideline and HOPEFULLY give Matchroom all the belts except for Plant’s. It means Matchroom can play more hardball with GBP of Canelo doesn’t get the WBC.

These are GBP works in the process, not Canelo. GBP knows that Hearn would want Smith vs BJS for the WBC, WBA, and WBO. THEN Canelo would be in the picture.

It’s all in the hands one the WBC board. The only thing Canelo got going is the Franchise status having repped them for years, AND because Canelo has fought from 160-175, so its good business and good for the sport.

Canelo was running alright... he was running from a Benavidez fight. Of all the names he mentioned fighting Benavidez definitely wasnt one of them. Now he wants to fight for the vacant title.

I say let the Ginger fight for the WBC belt with the stipulation whoever wins it has to give Benavidez a chance to win it back.

Smith and Canelo will back off and let somebody else fight for it before they face Benavidez. That dude is a monster at 168.

Benavidez never made headlines or begged for Canelo when he KO’d Krusher nor did Benavidez diss or disrespect Canelo for it. In fact, aside from Plant, what other fighters did Benavidez call out? You want the truth Jack Nicholson style?! David could quite possibly never make 168 again which means he gets dibs at 175 for the WBC. Are you widdit to say that David could handle Beterbiev? That’s the logical step if you can’t make 168 right? How you funna spin that?

A monster because of his recent Angulo fight or Dirrell? Please man. Lol

Yeah and they got GBP leaning on them and Canelo throwing a hissy fit when he don't get his way and since he's Mexican like the President and the no.1 attraction in the sport, the WBC will do whatever it takes to keep him happy whilst screwing everyone else in the process. I don't care whether it's Yildrim or Joe Bloggs who is #1 in the rankings, I'm just looking to see people who have been quietly working hard to get themselves into the rankings and paying their sanctioning fees in the meantime, get their just deserts

            Canelo's getting this.

It'll probably be Canelo vs Yildirim.

How hard is it to stay in shape right now? It is like Ruiz gave everyone the blueprint to just party it up and come in fat and hope nobody notices..............

Too many sharks at light heavy. That's why guys like Benavidez and Smith choose to squeeze down to 168. I sense the shady WBC will let Canelo fight Yildrim for its belt -- that was the whole purpose of stripping Benavidez in the first place. But I hear Jermall wants the WBC belt at 168 soon, so expect the scamsters in Mexico City to create a bogus "franchise" designation to protect Canelo from any legit challengers after he mashes Yildrim.

Quit lying. You're just hating on Canelo!

Here's the logical approach for us real fans that know the sport.

                  1. Canelo vs Smith would be the better fight.
                  2. Yildirim can agree to face the winner. The benefits THE TURK in fighting Canelo or Smith instead of the #2 WBC. Why? duh...Canelo and Smith are the BETTER CHALLENGES.
                  3. Yildirim can also take a step aside per request, which if its by the US Dollar or Sterling (Hearn), that's a massive payday given the currently from Turkey.
4.) Like I said, Eubank Jr. blasted Yildirim....you really trying to convince posters of your bold opinion above? Just be honest, some PBC affiliates hate that Yildirim (also Haymon) might have to agree because of all the points I listed, AND, because Haymon will lose control of the WBC to Matchroom or GBP.

Even IF the WBC approves Smith (the WBC Diamond) over Canelo, do you really think Yildirim is going to beat Callum? Hells no. Therefore, Matchroom wins 3 belts at 168. The last standing is Plant for Haymon.

So now, do you really think you want to convince readers here that it's ''Canelo'' having ''fits'' lol when its got nothing to do with such gay theory. That bruh fights EVERYBODY!

Sure, Haymon wouldn't mind. Haymon and Shield's probably circle jerking in the hopes that Yildirim pulls an upset like Ruiz did for AJ. Plus, Yildirim is PBC, so Haymon needs to play the cards anyways in that WBC ranking

You can't impose mandos on GBP if you're an Al Haymon fighter, especially against Canelo. So you're saying Haymon will hope for another purse bid scenario with Canelo vs Charlo?

Many of you seem to forget that Unifications trump mandos anyways, and GBP had already had Plant or BJS on radar. Jermall Charlo wouldn't be a problem in that scenario and just wait like a good boy
