Cecilia had a very good career but she's over her peak and the more recent additions to women's boxing are better than the ones 10 years ago.

She's better to retire now, if she goes on more L's are inbound.

Persoon will be whooped bad next week.
Yeah Jessica caught her at the right time most likely, she not great or anything like that

          Sloppy Seconds

Happy for Jessica McCaskill but it was NOT eye pleasing to watch at all! Very sloppy punching from both fighters. I can see why Katie easily beat McCaskill the first time and will repeat when they meet again.

Last woman standing will be Katie unless she faces Amanda Serrano who just might upset Katie the same way Jessica upset Cecilia.

But after round 4 I thought Breakhus won most rounds with landing better shots, controlling the fight more and generally demonstrating the better skills.

To be honest my biggest surprise is the judges. I thought they would have punished Macaskill for some of her body language. Breakhus was on top but Macaskill was emphasising it in the way she was turning away.
            Landing cleaner? In what way?

McCaskill was catching her consistently with leaping right hands and left hooks off the guard and then punishing Braekhus in the clinches with hooks or uppercuts!

How much cleaner does she have to be?

Braekhus was the one initiating the clinches or pushing McCaskill’s head down to keep her off of her cuz Jessica was slipping the jabs and coming up an over the top with no look hooks and hitting Cecilia with it over an over!

I know Braekhus is attractive but this isn’t about looks, it’s about who wanted it more and who did more quality work an that was simply McCaskill, no if’s, ands or but’s!

Brækhus has always been a one-eyed man in the village on the blind.

Brækhus is definitely over the hill, she should retire. She had a long and great career but now it’s time to leave the ring.

Have to agree. She’s looked past her best for a couple of years now, plus the women’s game is moving quickly.

Women’s UFC was the same, the standard quickly caught up with the top fighters and overtook them.

It’s a shame she’s not 10 years younger now while women’s boxing is getting some good matchups and exposure

Eh, she's gonna miss out on a lot of the money and great matchups that comes with the advancement of women's boxing, but none of those women will have the legendary status that she does.

Nobody's going to defend any belts 25 times from here on or monopolize all 4 belts in a division like she did.

Indeed, but I mean it’s a shame for boxing fans that she is basically coming to the end of her career when women’s boxing is starting to get some momentum too.

Also if women’s boxing improves a lot in the next few years and gets bigger with more talent, people might look back on her reign and say it happened when women’s boxing was extremely weak in comparison.
