I haven't seen the video and have no idea how Fury might have used the word. However, the argument that anyone can say the N word just because black people use it is very weak.

First off, words don't really have a meaning, they have usage.There's historical context tied into it and how this word has been used in the past. The connotation changes depending on who says it and how it's said.

Unless you were born to a family that has lived through the discrimination associated with the use of the N word, it is highly unlikely that you will understand.

However, I'm sure most people can appreciate that there are things we do and say to each other that we would find inappropriate for a stranger to say or do, right? I mean I'm pretty sure you call your wife/gf things, within a certain context, that you would find inappropriate for a stranger to imitate right? Well there's some of that taking place with the N word, but apparently there are some people who just don't get it or flat out don't care.

Hard -er is a different word with different meaning than -a ending. -a ending has been desensitized to where basically anyone can use it, in a private setting/among friends at least, and it wouldn't really raise too many eyebrows. The -er ending is still a slur that is really only used by non-black people. I don't think I've ever heard a black person say the hard -er version. Most of the times I've heard non-white people say one, it is usually the hard -er version.

If any slur is fair game, which will always be the case, then all slurs should be fair game though. Your reaction gives the word its power. If one really hates being called a word, you should use that word back in response to others who use it against you. I've found that to be the best defense in situations like this.

never used it, mostly because i speak spanish everyday. and i only post in english here or sometimes in twitter. it's an awful word but i don't think he was or is racist, he was just singing along. anyways, if any black person feels offended by that, they are in their right, after all i'm not black so i don't know how it feels.
