I haven't seen the video and have no idea how Fury might have used the word. However, the argument that anyone can say the N word just because black people use it is very weak.
First off, words don't really have a meaning, they have usage. There's historical context tied into it and how this word has been used in the past. The connotation changes depending on who says it and how it's said.
Unless you were born to a family that has lived through the discrimination associated with the use of the N word, it is highly unlikely that you will understand.
However, I'm sure most people can appreciate that there are things we do and say to each other that we would find inappropriate for a stranger to say or do, right? I mean I'm pretty sure you call your wife/gf things, within a certain context, that you would find inappropriate for a stranger to imitate right? Well there's some of that taking place with the N word, but apparently there are some people who just don't get it or flat out don't care.
