DAZN has yet to sign off on going ahead with a Fortuna-Tanajara card. Since TV rights are the only money coming in, DAZN has the only say.

Mannix was speculating that they'd rather push the card out a month and reschedule Linares-Fortuna, so they're waiting until the last minute in case Linares comes to them and says he feels better and will be ready in three weeks or whatever.

Rising lightweight Hector Tanajara is out of a discussed August 28th date with Javier Fortuna, sources told @SInow. Tanajara still wants the fight, I'm told. Prefers the date be pushed back 2-3 weeks to give him ample time to prepare.

I've seen the kid in the gym , sparring and in the Amateurs.
If I'm wrong I'll end up admitting it.
But all this Tanajara talk and IMO he Ain't that good.

Dude, I love Duarte... The kid’s style is the polar opposite of Tanajara. Trust me, this is a fight that has fireworks written all over it. Fortuna vs Duarte will be a Dawg fight whoever has the best chin will win. C’mon, Golden Boy make this fight happen I’m sure Duarte and Joel Díaz will be ready for The 28th.
