I loved FNC too and had all the previous versions. I still break out the PS3 just for that game and play it from time to time. I loved creating boxers and downloading others boxers. A lot of my created boxers were movie characters like Django Freeman, Frank Begbie, Sandor Clegane, Anton Chigurgh. I used the photo face for Django and you could even see the r on his face. He’s got the blue pantaloons and has the theme song as his walk out music. Totally badass and he KO’d many a fool online. The D is silent mother&@#*$!
I don’t see them ever making another one tho unless the sport recaptures some of the following it used to have and that’s a damn shame.

You don’t have to use them just make fighters up who we as fans know it’s “manny Pacquiao” I know it sound weird but I’m ok with that if boxers want to ***** about licensing fees.
That's a good idea actually but sadly licensed pros are half the reason people buy sports games like that ut seems. My fav baseball game currently is Super Mega Baseball 3 and even though it has all made up characters with joke names and looks kind of cartoonish it's a damn solid baseball sim if you turn up the ego (difficulty) setting. Not going to assume you or anyone care about baseball but have you even heard about that game? Just as a litmus test per se.

My biggest concern is that EA is light years beyond dogshyt at this point. Wonder how many micro-transactions and other pay to win greed tactics they will employ with this title...

I haven’t played a baseball video game since Nintendo 64’s “Ken Griffey Jr.” which was fun.

PlayStation 2 had a Japanese boxing game called “victorious boxers: road to Ippo’s glory” that game was awesome and the story mode was amazing and it was just random cartoon fighters. Sad even mobile games won’t touch boxing game realm
