BJS is the WBO champion. Nobody can make a champion vacate for turning down any offer which is less than he would be entitled to get from a purse bid.
Ibf did it with canelo and SD

Canelo didn't turn down an offer from SD.

SD turned down an offer from Canelo.

      Think about it.

Strange how he's suddenly ranked #1 in a weight class where he's only fought once in 2 years against someone isn't ranked at all by the WBO (or the WBA, or IBF for that matter)

The WBO had already agreed for BJS vs Canelo earlier this year. Canelo was just recently the LHW WBO Champion. It’s not rocket science for him to get dibs there. How did BJS get dibs for his vacant 168 after failing a PED test and “vacating” his 160? It’s all about merit right? Because he was a Champ before hand in the same org? Same applies to any previous Champ under the WBO. It has to be requested and reviewed by the WBO

Well if BJS and Canelo both acknowledge pay cuts with a non attendance setting who do you think is going to win the bid? Will be BJS be happy with his split?

Reflecting on purse bids now you understand Canelo and his purse bid fiasco with GGG back in the day innit?! Attaboy!

There won't be a bid. GPB would have to either give Bill a purse he's happy with or withdraw Canelo.
