    It wouldn't be that easy for Whyte. As Wilder is already contracted to fight for the WBC title, if Fury vacated before the fight or even after the Wilder fight, more than likely the winner of Whyte vs. Povetkin will be fighting Wilder for the vacant title. It is extremely likely that even in a loss, Wilder will be ranked #1 challenger behind whoever is mandatory.
