It’s a sad fact and the reason I only pop in occasionally to laugh at fanboys like when his idol Wilder got crushed. Some of them change screen names, some retire after losses like that and some just pretend they weren’t fans and project their hatred elsewhere.

I have a few private groups on Facebook with good admins and policing so any signs of racism, xenophobia, fanboys get the boot quick but failing that public places I just go discuss boxing history because current scene “fans” are awful and the worst fans in sport bar none. I think fans who genuinely want to discuss boxing history are the best so I stay there.

I been said that Teo was doing was a calculated move and it makes sense!

This is called prizefighting, the fans won’t be paying your bills when your career is over unless you build a loyal fanbase and build a brand!

This is why it’s called risk/reward ratio in boxing as well as matchmaking which most ignorant fans don’t understand!

Look at Canelo, Pacquiao, Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Loma and Spence!

You take risks and you’ll be rewarded but also you also make calculated decisions and also while building your brand so you can make money when your career is over!

All of the guys I mentioned have a fanbase and brand likely will have income coming in when everything is all said and done unless they screw it all up!

He took the fight so he is not a ducking coward. Actually no pro boxer is a coward in my opinion although some are braver than others. Anyone who makes a living boxing is much braver than the average guy. It is a dangerous sport that kills guys every year and badly injures others. Lopez clearly loves to fight and he is an attacking fighter.
