Loma’s fans knew Lopez wasn’t scared. They see the size, the power, and the speed. They definitely know Lopez is a threat that’s why they were shaming him so damn hard. Yeah. And I heard a radio program today talking about how boxers never duck anyone, and that no one is scared to fight anybody.

I call B.S. on that statement. Lots of fighters are scared as hell about fighting certain boxers. Most overcome their fear. But many get scared for a lot of reasons, such as looking like a fool in front of millions, of losing for the first time, or losing again, of re-injuring themselves, etc.

Most overcome their fear, but it doesn't change the fact that almost everyone gets the butterflies, and some more so than others.

Ducking and being afraid are real. If anyone hears a boxer say that, they are probably lying or have been fighting boxing hobbyists and cabdrivers.

Human is human and fear is real. In reality, fear is your friend, IMO. Nothing like a good adrenal dump.

Hey. We won't really know to be honest. By Lomachenko reducing his purse, he put Teofimo in a Lose-Lose situation. He had no choice but to take the fight.

What would he say? No, I'm still not fighting.

Or, no, I'll take the original offer of 1.2 mil.

Both of those answers would make it look like he was planning on ducking the whole time.

Or he can takes the new offer and has Lomachenko supporting Teofimo's family.
