  • Props to Leo for standing his ground and getting a better deal and props to Loma for sacrificing more of his guarantee to make sure it happened.

A lotta folk around here seem to be forgeting that successful negotiations are down to both parties.

Honestly, I think Teofimo really wanted to push this fight out into next year, probably into summer. I'm 99.99 percent certain of this. But with all the postings on social media about the offers and not signing right away enraged the public and made Teofimo have to think about public relations and his image.

Then Loma paid him to get into the ring. I think his camp is not going as well as he wish it were and all the talk of his being too green, plus the money not being as good, made him try to not take it now.

So props to Loma for giving the fans the fight now. If it weren't for Lomachenko, we wouldn't be having this fight.

        Stfu already phaggot

This mother****er is picking Lopez to win but won't give Loma any credit if he wins

Because I don't think much of your boy. Not sure he can beat Santa Cruz honestly. Why get in your gay feelings? Lots of you are weak Lomasexuals. You gonna tell me about his amateur medals now?

I'm not a Loma fan. I just read your posts and cringe at how fcking dumb you sound every time you open your mouth

Well, perhaps. Teo has a young man's ego and might have been swayed by public opinion but that remains speculative. Either way he looks to have got close to his asking price, whether folk believe it was deserved is kinda moot and I suspect largely dependent on which fighter they like more. Terms like 'fair' ain't really relevent here, you take what you can get.

If Teo had caused the fight to fall through through outpricing himself I wouldn't have been sympathetic, but I also don't hold it against a fighter to try to get the best return they can for their work... in this case his gamble paid off. But yeah, undeniably Loma should be credited for being willing to take a financial hit - and quite a substantial one per reports - in order to further his legacy goals.

This is a good but a green 22 year old prospect-champion. Fact. Isn't it even more shameful that he's being compared to Lomachenko, the God of boxing? This little kid would be his best win, if he wins. Think about that. Stop the hype.

He's being compared to him because they are about to fight.

Lomachenko isn't the god of boxing. He's just the best fighter in the world right now.

You are not making any damn sense. You're picking Lopez to beat the hype job yet if the hype job wins you won't give him credit. It's almost like you have no respect to yourself and your opinions.

Lopez won't be his best win. Nobody ever said that but you.

Lastly, you're a Davis fan. You have no room to talk about unproven hype jobs.

Like I said, stfu or at least think before you open your mouth because every time you do you sound like a damn fool

Yeah. Totally agree. I think the best takeaway from all of this is that we, the fans, are the winners.

Now we have some great fights coming up. Even this weekend! Israil Madrimov fights this weekend, and I think you had posted about him. With Breakhus and McCaskill. He's a boxer I've been watching for awhile. He almost fought Oleksandr Khyzhniak. I wish I could have seen those two duke it out

Salido beat Loma's ass and Salido was a journeyman with 12 losses. Lopez is at least 2 times better than Salido at that stage. It doesn't mean Lopez is great. Loma is too overhyped. Not to mention going life and death with bums.

Loma isn't even close to being the best fighter in the world, not a chance. Maybe to fanboys like you.

                      You STFU.
