I actually think I lean Campbell. He has seen a ton in the ring, and has adapted well enough to be competitive. I could talk myself into either, but if Luke wants to be anything but a gate keeper he needs this win. Garcia may be young, talented, and hungry, but Campbell is tested, underrated, and hungry.

Campbell wins a fight which may be good enough to demand an immediate, better paying rematch next year.

      with respect...

it shows that fighters who hide their promoters are bltches

Canelo stepped up, against the wishes of his promoter... so did Garcia... and so have many others... the "but his promoter doe" excuses are total bullshlt... those fighters need to either shlt, or get off the pot

it also shows that fans who accept/use that behavior as an excuse... are also ignorant bltches

Garcia is just a kid, but even he knows that GBP work for him, NOT the other way around... the kid is exposing grown men

Best believe it. If Lomachenko couldn’t put a pounding on this dude certainly untested Garcia can’t

Loma and Linares couldnt stop campbell. Why do people think Garcia will? So ridiculous I can't tell if they're trolling.

The truth really. I don't know why people are slagging off Luke, he is a really good fighter. If you are a fan of Garcia then why would you downplay Luke as if he's a bum, doesn't give you much to talk about if Garcia wins right? If Kingry wins then that is a massive win and means he will most definitely become a good world champion, and if he loses it doesn't make Kingry a bum, he is still very young and there is no shame in losing to an Olympic gold medalist and someone who has avenged 1 of his 3 losses, the other 2 being world champs in Loma and Linares (a UD and SD loss respectively).

A lot of people on here smoking crack (and taking it up the crack too most likely)

If Garcia was a PBC fighter then he wouldn't take this fight. If Campbell was a PBC fighter then he wouldn't take this risk. Garcia and Teo Lopez are exposing a lot of these boxers.

too much is being made about going the distance with linares on an SD. linares is pretty good but linares has been beaten up and ko'd plenty of times by plenty of people. loma is great but loma is not a ko guy at 135. most good contenders will go 12 with loma at 35. different style fighter, different type of test. could be a decent fight. glad they seem to be able to get it done

before we go into full genuflection on campbell and garcia's marine corp level of toughness and adventure, remember this is essentially a dazn fight between a top dazn prospect vs a solid 30 year old dazn contender with no belt.

even so it is a good fight that most would like to see and presents good opportunities for both

Great post, except for Loma being great. He's very good.

Campbell ain't ****. Ryan will show that. Gold medals have meaning in the amateurs. This is the pros. What has Campbell done in a decade as a pro? He even gets undeserved shots. Answer is: Unremarkable.
