Whyte not good enough to be avoided. Whyte won't even get past 40 year old Povetkin.

Wilder was the clear #1 or #2 in the division before the Fury fights, only a clown would try and deny it.

As far as I'm concerned Wilder is still #2 right now behind Fury.

Wilder would put AJ & Whyte to sleep within a few rounds, just because he lost to the best fighter in the world doesn't mean he drops down the list.

          Exactly. Whyte is dog s***

I honestly don't see how anyone rates him.

If Whyte is total garbage then Fury should have no problem taking on his mandatory. The WBC needs to make this happen in December instead of Wilder/Fury 3.

If Fury is #1 in the world then he needs to act like it, step up as the WBC Champion and defend his belt. Not overlook the mando and grab money. Arum pushed and pushed for Joshua/Pulev so he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Fury is now the best fighter in the world? Tell me who’s sucking off who.

Wilder was #2 in a weak division because he’s American and everyone was in love with his power, ignoring the fact he had beaten nobody.

And yes he does drop all the way down the list based on the manner in which he lost. Fury hasn’t had a legit knockout in years (ignoring Schwarz) and look what Fury did to him - Wilder folded worse than Wallin. Wilder was still on his feet at the end taking multiple clean punches, so I don’t even buy the fact that Fury now has the knockout power to rival Klitschko, Joshua and even Whyte or Ruiz after 1 Kronk training camp.

Wilder was just that shockingly bad and exposed, as someone who routinely loses rounds to C level fighters would be eventually.

Yet he will still be the 3rd best fighter that Fury has fought..what does that say about his fight record?

If Fury needs to fight this year, but Wilder isn’t ready and AJ is unviable then who should he fight? Let him get his mando out the way

Fury is far more well known and popular in America, and let's face it, the only countries that matter are the UK & USA.

Remember that Fury got non-stop mainstream media coverage on every sports channel in America during the buildup to his last fight.

Fury doesn't have to do anything, I hope he tells the BBBoC to go and **** themselves tbh.
Fury is not as well known as AJ in the UK - to people who know boxing yes, but not the general public and casual fans, so looking at boxing FB pages tells me nothing about their relative mainstream appeal. AJ has packed stadiums, sells more PPVs, generates far more sponsorship money and has a far bigger social media following.

As for the US, you may be well be right so no questions there regarding popularity compared to Joshua, but that’s a different market entirely and Canelo/Pacquaio are the fighters that move the needle. In other words, Fury is not the #1 in the UK or the US.

Wilder was a 5yr unbeaten champion, tied for title defenses with Ali, those are the facts. Remember when everyone said Klitschko was shot after Fury schooled him, then he gave AJ the fight of his life and he was suddenly a good fighter again lol. Same with Chisora, Fury beats him and he was shot and never any good to begin with, then Whyte "beats" him and he's suddenly a good win.

Nah, Chisora is a better win than Whyte. Whyte is a bum.

Fury is more popular than AJ in the UK, AJ has very recently lost half of his fanbase.

Fury has been on mainsteam TV for months now, documentaries on prime time TV, appearances on all the breakfast shows etc.

The Wilder win has catapulted Fury in superstardom. AJ's profile is going downhill rapidly, especially as he got dominated and stopped by a morbidly obese late replacement 12 months ago.
