I would love for you to explain how you equate the #1 HW attempting a unification bout, which places a mandatory defense of a single title against a unanimously lower rated fighter as a lesser priority.......to Fury ducking Whyte.

Yes, I'd like to see it. First because I believe Whyte will shock Fury and beat him. Second because if Fury grows a pair and fights Whyte, then there is an easy path to unification. I am a boxing fan and I dgaf about money etc. Are you only interested in a fight if the fighters are making shedloads of money ffs? Whyte is mandatory. Fury wants to duck him. Stop talking rubbish. Was there more money for Fury/Top Rank in fighting Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin? If you want to talk money, Whyte has headlined PPVs and generated 400-450k UK buys against the likes of Parker and Chisora, while an unheralded Oscar Rivas received $1m plus to fight him. In contrast, Fury’s first fight against Wilder pulled 300k buys in the UK, while Otto Wallin only received a $250k purse, so quit pretending that Fury is some big cash cow who’s too big to make mandatories. Without a fight against AJ, he will have made Arum no money at all with the guarantees they’ve dished on him.

Besides, Warren is talking about Fury fighting closed doors against someone other than Wilder this year (i.e. not AJ). Who should that be against in your view, other than an obligated mandatory defence against Whyte, given that an AJ fight wouldn’t be viable? This is the perfect opportunity for Fury to clear up the mandatory mess he has admittedly inherited, yet you’re coming up with BS logic about money.

Put Fury v Whyte or any other HW (apart from AJ) together in next fight, let's see what revenues are generated for all involved..

The excuses will be as listed...

-Fury can’t use Paffen sports gloves

-Fury’s team can’t put a towel over their dressing room camera

-Fury can’t hit behind the head and no leaning on the neck and back

-Fury can’t load his gloves

-Fury can’t lick AJ’s blood

Fury is now the face of boxing and can do or fight whoever the hell he wants to, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Nobody can dictate to the Gypsy King now, including the WBC.

Even if Fury vacates the belt, he will still be the lineal champion and ranked #1 by every boxing publication in the world.

Now those are the real facts, Fury will give that bum a payday when he feels like it, that's it.

It depends on who he actually fights. Vacating to make the Joshua fight is perfectly acceptable but winds up in some tickover he'll be akin to Spinks in the 80's.

Okay let me spell this out for you again. Fury vs AJ is obviously the biggest fight in the division, but can’t happen until next summer at the earliest. Warren is talking about Fury fighting closed doors THIS year if Wilder isn’t ready.

Given a a closed door AJ fight is out of the question this year, should Fury
a) Fight Whyte and clear up his mandatory
b) Fight someone else? If so, who should this be?
