Berlanga looks like the goods, but it's still too early to know for sure being that he hasn't been extended or faced adversity yet. Wouldn't it be ironic in a good way for Andre Rozier if he winds up fighting and knocking out Danny 'The Brooklyn Rat' Jacobs at some point down the line?

This would be huge!
If Benavidez can unify and continue to defend and Berlanga can grab a belt this could be huge down the line. Would be a east coast vs west coast, Mexico vs Puerto Rico, 2 hard hittters, all the makings for a great match up.Comment

When benavidez says he wants to fight the best, I believe him. I don't see him as the type to minimize risk and since there's a lot of good young talent in and around his weight class, he'll probably be involved in some good fights vs other top guys and not washed up or past prime names.Comment

This fight with Benavidez and Zurdo's leftovers has gotten zero buzz whatsoever so BoxingScene has to resort to writing trash articles bringing up some young prospect's name to try and manufacture some hype for this mismatch. Good luck getting anybody to tune into that non-needle moving, dud of a fight. Stephen Espinoza is a lying charlatan for pretending Showtime fights would be better than the other garbage that's been televised recently.Comment
