I don't bet on boxing, but no way does Spence beat up and stop Danny Garcia. He might outpoint him, but Danny is far too skilled to get beat senseless by anyone - even Bud Crawford.

Before the accident Spence would have easily beaten Danny on points, it's funny as hell how the car crash has changed the narrative of this fight.

Before the crash: 'What does this fight prove? How many chances does Danny get? We don't want to see this fight!' 'Spence is gonna win why even fight Danny?'

After the crash: 'This is a tough fight to come back to.' 'Spence really should take a tuneup.' 'Danny is gonna KO Spence, he won't be able to take a punch anymore.'

I been lurking this forum taking mental notes for a while, Danny was not getting the respect he is getting now back in December.

And until otherwise shown Danny vs Crawford is a 50-50 fight. Crawford has done NOTHING to show he is head and shoulders above any of the other top welters.

Well said! Spence was good before the accident, but low output and not exactly fast. DSG can take a punch and has faster hands than Spence. Spence's deliberate and accurate heavy shots can break down fighter's (see Porter fight), but if he faces someone that can hang and throw some heavy shots as well...it becomes a 50/50 fight after that nasty car crash!!

I didn't say **** about him getting dropped, learn to read. He said Spence a guy who is praised constantly for his activity levels and aggression is nowhere near a 'low output' or a slow fighter.

Spence needs to stop drinking. Does he have dentures? Danny's two defeats were very close fights.

From what I read, Spence had dental posts implanted. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me, they're going bad as soon as he eats some leather. Dentures would be best until he quit boxing, especially at a top level. I'm no dentist, but it makes sense to wait until he quits getting hit, before doing more permanent work.

Oh..I agree that Danny is faster than Spence as far as punches are concerned.....and his punch output is not extremely high unless he's facing a guy coming up from 130 pounds....so for the most part that guy is correct

Name me one welterweight who throws more punches against top opposition than Spence? Name me one. Spence threw 200 more punches than Brook for a total of 633. He threw over 1000 against Mikey. 745 against Porter.

In comparison Thurman threw 539 against Porter and against Garcia he threw 570.

Spence's two possible biggest wins of his career Thurman already beat 3 yrs ago.

That's just the way it is right now. Timing is everything in boxing. There's another batch of welterweights coming up now, maybe they'll get a shot at Spence in the future. Maybe Keith comes back healthy for a mandatory shot against Spence. Maybe Pacquiao decides to take a fight against Spence. Other than all those maybes, these were the guys lined up and ready to face Spence now.

There isn't a standout in this era right now. These are all high level fighters that can beat eachother on the right night. Plus there's a worldwide pandemic right now.
