I said you could logically argue he won round 2,3,4 and 6. Which you can.

        Sugar Ray:
No way bro...he’s lucky if you give him 2 rds!

        IronDanHamza:
Hence, Maidana did not win 5 of the first 6 rounds.

        Sugar Ray:
I scored it that way (and if I want be be charitable 4-2 rds in Maidana’s favor)

        IronDanHamza:
I mean, you could score 5 of the first 6 rounds for Maidana, sure. If you give him every single close round.

        Sugar Ray:
        Precisely!

        IronDanHamza:
The exact same way you could score the first 6 rounds 4-2 to Floyd on the same token. Hence, your point being moot.

        Sugar Ray:
You can’t score 4-2 rds in Floyd’s favor from rds 1-6, no way in Hell. If you still going to insist In that, then you’re lying to everyone & worse you’re lying to yourself! And you’ll lose credibility.

        IronDanHamza:
Except the majority of the boxing world don’t acknowledge that Maidana won the first half of the fight, or the fight in general.

        Sugar Ray:
Yes they do, even the most diehard Floyd nut huggers acknowledge that maidana won the first half of the fight, it’s not even debatable.

        IronDanHamza:
In fact, less than 10% of the Boxing media felt that Maidana won the fight.

        Sugar Ray:
What freakin%? Where you get that 10% from?
Let’s do a survey here at boxingscene.

        IronDanHamza:
        So, there’s that.

        Sugar Ray:
Iron I’m not trolling you bro,
I respect your posts here... but I disagree with you big time on this.

Maidana was a zero draw who threw both fights for FLoyd Haymon. They made the fights look close to steal your money but they both were rigged.

Castillo was paid off to play soft in the second fight as Floyd was being developed to be a future franchise A side, Castillo was just a B side.

FLoyd's whole career was rigged, if you have the common sense to accept it and connect the dots. Floyd is still trying to rig some more fraud fake fights to steal your money. Some things never change.

Never understood the Maidana won angle first off, but second just cuz you suck at interneting you don't need to make a thread about it.

If there was any videos Floyd wanted hidden it'd be the domestic abuse ones not any fight. And if there was a fight he'd want hidden it'd be JLC the first time around when reasonable mfers thought he came up short & I even had it a draw on my card as a cat from Michigan who was a Floyd fan from the days when he was the kid who's dad fought SRL.

I love how Marcos left the game. I'm glad coronavirus fooked up his planned comeback & I hope things continue towards that end. This is a unforgiving sport & he left at his best & it's unlikely he does anything except diminish his rep in a comeback.

We are definitely very different fans in that you think if you don't retire "on top" that your legacy takes a hit, and I encourage fighters to fight til their heart is content.

A loss to me today doesn't take away what a fighter did yesterday. I'll never understand that kind of nonsensical logic. What I do today has nothing to do what what I've done before. My actions today don't rewrite what I have already done. And I certainly am not a literal different person than I was last year, nor 10 years ago.

Personally I hope he comes back as planned and my money is on him against most people.
I give people the benefit of the doubt and think its crazy that armchair critics assume a pro athlete can't just come back to the same sport and pick up where they left off.

I don't think there is any argument staying past your best days impacts your legacy to most fans. I think there is also lil argument if you get out early your legacy tends to get a boost to most fans. I'm making an observation more than anything else. Fighters obviously can & do make their own decisions knowing all of this. And there have been, are & will continue to be exceptions to the rule. I'm not armchair quarterbacking anything.

That said I get it. It's ultimately a job to fighters & few fighters can make as much money boxing as other things outside the ring especially in their mid to late 30s when they've spent the last two decades focusing on a sport. I just like seeing more guys get out early rather than too late cuz of how unforgivable the sport is in many ways. This isn't like many other professions. You aren't losing as much of yourself staying too long in most professions.

                    Exactly this

Maidana ran off into the sunset with a fist full of cash
Not many get to do that

I’ve said many times Floyd carried Maidana, and GBP knew this but they didn’t care. They wanted their profit and notoriety.. two easy PPV’s for Floyd while milking the Showtime contract. Floyd’s team probably approved the glue too before hand. Maidana’s stamina is drowned in late fights. Anybody a fan of chino knows his fights in late rounds. Floyd MAKES YOU WORK. In order for Floyd to milk two fights he allowed Maidana to sniff... this is all obvious to milk profits off fans and that contract
What is this glue sniffing? You mean like literally or is that a figure of speech?
