No, there are too many easy fights in the HW division. He can go back to making 1 to 2 mil a fight to smash guys like Arreola, Washington, Molina etc
Should Wilder retire if he loses again to Fury?

If he loses the third fight, then he will forced to fight the other contenders which would be a good thing. Also, Fury is not the best heavyweight out there, he is just the one who beat Wilder. His fall will be as swift as Wilder's was within the next year. Had they stopped the Wallin fight, or gave him a tougher sentence for taking steroids, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. But beating Sefari, Pianeta, Wallin and Schwarz does not make you the bestLast edited by Tyistall; 08-09-2020, 09:10 AM.Comment

Yes
In fact it should be a stipulation in the contract, if Wilder loses he MUST retire right there in the ring after.Comment

Those guys beat him now, he got by on a fear factor which has vanished, he's now Jeff Lacy, he won't beat anyone above bum level ever again.Comment

Wilder has never struck me as a fighter who? WOULD continue to fight on if he was really beaten, inside of the ring and within himself. Now Wilder has lost to Fury, but in his mind 'He still has not accepted this reality'. When and if he does accept that another man has beaten him 'He strikes me as a fighter who would disappear'.
He is already showing the signs of wanting out of the game, already going the way of Keith Thurman and being tamed by his woman. I knew it was all wrong, when he was cuddled up on the couch before he was about to go out and face Tyson Fury 'Can you imagine Mike Tyson behaving this way before a fight?'.
That eye of the Tiger, I don't see it anymore. Tyson Fury had the eye of the Tiger going into that rematch.Comment
