Coming from 122 and moving up the ranks to 130 with only 19 Ko's the odds don't look good Leo.

Beating LSC is going to be a whole heck of a lot harder than beating the guys Davis is used to, believe me.

        Look at his last ten:

        Gamboa
        Ricardo Nunez
        Hugo Ruiz
        Jesus Cuellar
        Francisco Fonseca
        Liam Walsh
        Jose Pedraza
        Mario Macias
        Guillermo Avila
        Luis Sanchez

That is a really, really poor last ten.

LCS is levels above every one of those guys
huge difference is Maidana was a natural welterweight, in his prime, and very heavy-handed! Maidana v Broner was not thought of as a huge mismatch or showcase fight for Broner.

I remember most around here thinking that it was a stepping stone fight, and Broner was a pretty heavy Vegas favorite.

actually the article u posted is stating how dangerous an opponent Maidana was with his 31 ko’s ...and how the betting odds were the smallest for Broner as compared to his prior fights where he was a huge favorite....the article states many thought Maidana would b the one to expose Broner. Don’t think any knowledge boxing fan would think Maidana - with 31 ko’s and having never been stopped - would b a “stepping-stone” for the overrated Broner. - who had just struggled to beat an old pillow-fisted Paulie M. In any case - if Lsc was in his prime and had power - this wouldn’t b such a mismatch!!

No you're right it did say that Maidana was arguably his toughest opponent to date (at the time of the article) but it sill mentions nonetheless that Broner was still a heavy betting favorite. Just not as heavy as his previous, much weaker opposition obviously.

I don't think he will beat Davis BUT Leo could prove to be his toughest test so far

Maybe he can be what Castillo was to Mayweather...you just never know in boxing anything can happen in that ring. With Film Study and the right Strategy yes he can pull the huge upset. Pedraza, Gamboa had some success early against Tank David, he didn't just blow them away or anything. So it all Depends on Leo Strategy!

there is absolutely no way LSC wins this - he can't deter Tank who will shut off the ring. Tank by ko in 4

If Tank has trouble making the weight then Santa Cruz has a shot.

Otherwise I don't see him winning.
