Canelo fights old washed up guys only. Now he wants to fight GGG again because GGG will be 39 next year and he looked terrible in last fight.

Now this is just my thinking on this but after Brook kind of held his own before getting his face broke and Danny Jacobs (aslo a big fan of) held his own but obviously lost he and his team thought, its our time to get him. Anyone with eyes knows Canelo lost the first fight, the second fight he was strong the first half but faded and Golovkin had some pivotal moments and made it really close. Ill be honest I havent watched the second fight after it first aired but I thought if there was going to be a draw this was the fight. I felt like Derevyanchenko deserved the nod over Golovkin more than anyone who has ever fought him.
I say all that to say this. I dont really care about the whole ped thing. He got caught, they all do it. Its amazing he did but he did so be it. The dude has a lot of cherry picks but all great fighters do. Kovalev was low hanging fruit but a good win for him, he looked like ass for most of the fight but he landed the punch, you could see it coming.
Im coming back around to the kid is what im saying, Im looking forward to what he can do with the time he has left. He should have a few more loses on his record sure but you could say that about alot of fighters. He aint scared Ill give him that, JMW to LHW doesnt get done all the time.
I’m a big GGG fan but Canelo is undoubtedly a great, great fighter with an excellent resume. People are way too harsh on him IMO.
The first fight I had 116-112 GGG. Maybe you could have it a little closer but GGG definitely won that first fight.
The second fight I had 115-113 GGG. Similar to you I had Canelo ahead early on but GGG winning enough later rounds to edge the decision. Not a robbery by any means though very close fight.

Maybe you are new to forums, but Canelo since late 2018 said he wasn’t interested in a third fight UNLESS a substantial pay was offered. Guess what! DAZN is finally willing to add that bonus since contractually there was never any talks for a trilogy on DAZN. All the forums members here never wanted a trilogy because GGG gets blasted. Stay salty

that dumb shlt is exactly what entitled golov-spastics have been saying about their entitled fighter for years
FACT: Canelo had been chasing the Cotto fight for a long time
FACT: Cotto was no middleweight, he weighed 153
FACT: Canelo was a superstar who had never weighed more than 155, he should not be expected to hand a unproven hypejob any kind of advantage
FACT: Mr "anyone from 154-168" (Bullshltkin) could have taken that fight whenever he wanted
Golovkin: Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154

FACT: Canelo fought Bullshltkin in his very first fight at middleweight

I’m not sure if the pandemic “helped” the circumstances to understand Team Canelo, but I’ve seen posters here whom have been critical of Canelo turn around SIMPLY for what the opponents have been doing. It may be that, OR, boxing is very basic or limited with stars that one stands out from the rest. Now you may be critical of Kovalev or Jacobs all you want, but what were the comparisons for Crawford or Loma opposition? Fans were even critical to say Inoue’s Donaire was Canelo’s Kovalev... I mean both were P4P once upon a time anyways.
With all that being said, as TIME GOES ON, you simply only evaluate what’s presented and the fights that happened. Now I see Plant, Benavidez, Charlo, Smith, BJS, Andrade all hit a heavy bag, and as of late, NONE OF THEM hit it as hard as Canelo. His stocky build and low height weight make it possible for them rocket shots. Many of you that don’t box and for those of us whom been at gyms, you see countless guys of all sizes hit mitts and a bag. You can see why Pros are good at what they do.
Canelo Álvarez is the real deal. Forget judges and all that shet man. All the youngies like Haney, Lopez, Garcia they’ve all got Canelo #1. Why? Their styles aren’t even the same. The answer is Because they and we whom are at gyms know how hard Canelo hits.
I’ve had fractured ribs once or twice. My fault for going hard with guys bigger than me in sparring. The pain and hurt business is real.
BJs, Smith, Charlo, Andrade. Any of these fools take a rocket launcher from the build that Canelo is NOW and they will not fight the way you see them normally do. That is fact.
Mexican Bidness! They is mean body punchers
