Trinidad had outgrown 147 before he fought Oscar but he stayed at 147 to get te big fight with Oscar. He moved up to 154 right after the fight with Oscar while Oscar stayed at 147. Trinidad was much stronger 154 without being weight drained. He was a monster at 154 and Oscar did not want to rematch him at 154.

I have never watched the fight from start to finish, only seen the HBO documentary 'Will Probably catch the fight sometime'.

Then as if the beating wasn't enough, Oscar then moved to Cupey Alto and bought a house higher up on the hill than Tito's, which was a major diss as this is considered a measure of class and success the higher up the hill your house is there.

Oscar became the hero of Puerto Rico and Tito had to hole up in his hovel down the mountain with the curtains drawn while watching neighborhood kids pass his house on bicycles on their way up the hill to try and get an autograph from The Golden Boy.
        Welcome back, Paul

In my mind Oscar won too. Fairly easily too. Judges ruled against Oscar because he ran for the final 3 rounds. To me that was a legitimate tactic but the judges didn't see it that way. Regardless of the result it was a great fight!

Yes sir. He was a damn nightmare being a weight drained 147 too. Basically a pre Pac Margarito situation...as far as the size for the class/weight cut imo.
