I wouldn't be at all surprised. Teo's already bursting at the seams at 135, 6 months, a year and he'll have to move up I reckon. I don't think Arum will move much on the $$$ so unless either Loma volunteers a cut or Teo bends on his demands... well I ain't holding my breath.
FWIW I reckon something like 33%/66% is pretty fair, IMO at least... basically if Loma donated 250k to Teo I personally would feel that should be enough. End of the day though that decision's up to him and his team.
Didn’t Loma once offer Walters a percentage of his purse if he could beat him?
Maybe something like that could work, it would be a long shot though.

Yeah, 300k, also offered a deal to Rigo, 500k each +500k for the winner. HBO death row budgets from the time of course ain't in the same league as current top end purses, but it still puts a bit of perspective on things. A side Lomachenko was initially slated to get just 850k vs Walters 500k although ultimately after the delays Loma got 1 mil and Walters just 300k.

Yeah Loma has always struck me as one of those fighters who genuinely wants to fights the best. Hopefully they work something out because I doubt Lopez ever fights at 135 again unless this fight happens next. Really interesting fight too IMO...
