"If Pacquiao even dreams about beating “Bud,” he’d best wake up and apologize."

Stopped reading there. Classic Fitzsimmons trollbait BS.

Let's face it, as great as this late-career run of wins is, he's at the age when he could retire for good at any moment. He doesn't have a "long-term future in this sport", so it makes sense for him to take the biggest fights he can get. Plus, it's not like anyone else has the stones to fight Crawford. Nobody would have turned up their nose at, say, Thurman vs. Crawford that long ago, and Pacquiao beat Thurman.

It was a opportunist fight at just the right time that allowed Manny to step away from Spence and nobody would care because Thurman had a record that they would push forward and bury the long lay of surgery and nearly stopped last time out, Manny was betting fav that tells volumes.
Think what you will. This isn't about Manny, it's about Crawford.

Crawford was two-pieced, wobbled and DROPPED by Kavaliauskas off a basic trap.

Manny was setting advanced traps for Horn all night long, set beautiful traps for Keef in the first half of that fight. It's all he can do now.

Crawford's temper won't let him just stay back while Manny pieces him at range. He will get upset, he will engage, Manny will drop his ass just like what happened to Keef, just like what almost happened to Horn.

If Crawford gets dropped by Manny Pacquiao, and it's almost guaranteed he does because of his temper, he loses that fight. And Manny is not going to allow Crawford to low blow him for an asterisk win.

Say what you must about either guy but both have their own HUGE advantages in this fight. Pac has the ability to bait Crawford and drop him then win a points victory or Crawford has the ability to avoid the trap and stop Pac or beat him decisively on points. It depends on who has the better game plan that's implemented.

It's a sad state of boxing when even the writers say he has no chance of beating TR's hype ticket. What was left out was that no matter how dominant Pac is in the fight crawhype will get the decision. Oh btw beating Hatton whom should have been retired and going through personal issues at the time is a typical matchup crawford looks for and revels in when gets the win (deserving or not). What a homer type story. Reaching to those fans who are easily manipulated. Guess there are plenty out there. Too bad..

pac is NOT under bobby anymore so aint gon be no robbery!! pacman gonna out point crawford and win a UD!! TC will get dropped maybe 1x thruout the fight, like i said before, crawford fights out of anger, when he gets tagged, he gets right up in his opponents face trying to get back at them.

this version of manny will be a lot harder for guys like spence and crawford to beat since this version is not wild and wreck less. manny will do work on TC early on and built a good lead then pac will use his experience in the second half of the fight to keep crawford from landing the big shot. manny UD crawford.

Your right, buy you have it backwards. Crawford is still only around because he has fought absolutely nobody, I mean who's his best win Gamboa? I'll wait for a better name if there is one?, but I could tell you it's a trick question because there's absolutely no one relevant on his paper thin resume.

Crawford doesn't have a great resume, but it's not horrible either. The problem is that all the top welterweights are with Haymon and they can basically make good fights in house without risking themselves to lose against him. He's basically being bksckbakked because I kniestky think he beats all of the welterweights at pbc.

so he knows that and still went ahead and re-signed with TR, knowing that all the good fights is over there.......... yeah seems like crawford really wants to fight those guys right? lmao!!!!!

when manny was still with TR, what did crawford and his team says? "pac fight must be at 140"... then crawford later says "im not thinking about pacquiao"...

Crawford has no problem with facing Pacquiao but cautions that - "It will be at 140.

Terence Crawford: I am not thinking about Manny Pacquiao at all.

No where near as imposing or as good as Hearns who went up to 175 and beat Virgil Hill who was no damned slouch and two time 175 and Cruiserweight champ
