Jake and Logan Paul have made the "you don't play boxing" quote laughable.

Boxing is definitely the most dangerous of the combat sports, I mean just compare the death rates. in terms of brutality and pain it's not in the same realm as Muaythai and MMA, I've had my jaw broke and it really ain't that painful due to adrenaline, leg kicks are ****ing horrible and are proper painful regardless of the adrenaline, not to mention the knees and elbows.

The typical 5 min MMA round is usually worse than a typical 3 min boxing round but whether a 15-25 min MMA fight as a whole drains you more than 36 mins of boxing really depends because theres so much more variation in MMA. If you get into a lot of wrestling exchanges, scrambling etc the drain on your gas tank is unbelievably intense compared to just straight boxing. Throwing a kick is worth like 5-6 punches too, in terms of cardio cost. But then on the other hand if you're a far superior grappler and can just lay'n'pray its pretty easy in comparison. What some people overlook with the ground game though is that the guy on his back is usually having the air slowly squeezed out of him and hes working against gravity to get anything done, which again is very draining even though to the casual observer it looks like they're both having a rest down there.

This is correct. With boxing its the fact that you can take sustained head trauma for up to 36 minutes. I honestly think getting knocked out quickly is probably less damaging than having your brain shaken around in your skull a hundred times, getting up off the canvas to take more punishment etc etc.

Wow, no I believe you, I wouldn't ask an internet character just to be skeptical.

You feel like you re-gen plenty in a min rest too?

Dude, you're special. Most HWs are sucking wind because the minute rest is unfair for HWs. Small men regenerate energy more quickly than large men. To be huge and be able to go like you're not huge is really really rare. You should do something with that blessing! Go play football or some **** homie, damn.

Sadly I'm in the UK, no gridiron here but I actually played for a London team a couple years ago

And yeah but I go HAM on my cardio. I do literally a ****ton and conditioning training. Its taken me years to be able to comfortably go for rounds and, even then, pressure fighters are still a *****. Thanks for the kind words tho.

I would say MMA is tougher, because those submissions are painful, and as we saw last weekend you can break your leg just throwing a kick.

                    boxing is second.

                    rugby is third
