Wilder should have fought Vitali Klitschko

When Vitali was still around, Wilder was already a fringe contender in 2012. He was known KO artist. He should blame his people that they didn`t try hard to get that fight for him.

I mean, Vitali would have stopped him, but Widler would have learned something from that loss and he would be much more respected fighter now.

I'm not one for Wilder but this fight was never on the cards for me.
    Career suicide imho.

He probably wouldn't be a multi-millionaire right now. Plus the two fights with Fury were events, the build-up and fights themselves were must-watch TV.

Other than Klit/AJ, we haven't had a heavyweight fight with that kind of hype in years.

I would have loved to have seen vital ktfo him but his management knew what they were doing, same as they did when they rejected Unification with Wladamir.

Wilder was expertly manufactured taking zero risks on the route to an easy title fight against Bumane Stiverne.

Joshua at least had an excuse for being like 3 years as a pro and 16 fights vs Martin, Wilder had been around for ages and 30 odd fights vs Bumane.

After that zero risk defences, fellow PBC hype job Ortiz and then a recovering from ******* abuse fury

Wilders first risk was fury 2 which he was forced to take and he got demolished

Team Wilder wanted nothing do with either Klitschko, and i don't blame them tbh. Both would've beaten him up.

Wilder wouldn't even have a punchers chance against someone as skilled and iron chinned as Big Vit

Wilder was honestly pretty well managed up until they badly miscalculated the Fury situation. By "well managed" I mean they managed to have the guy go to 39-0 and hold the WBC title for over 3 years without fighting anyone worth a ****. He would have been exposed long ago if it wasnt for that.

Now imagine Fury was shot as they thought. And if Kownacki beat Helenius, Wilder -Kownacki would be next "big heavyweight title fight between two undefeated guys".

Really , Tyson Fury was the only roadblock for Wilder.

Vitali retired in 2013 and his last fight was in 2012. Wilder wasn't rated in any sanctioning body until 2013. So that would've never happened you think he'll risk losing to Wilder a unproven guy and Jennings and Mitchell were viewed as the best american heavyweight guys, he'll probably tell Wilder "you have to fight someone to fight me". Manuel Charr was a low risk high reward since he was getting into politics already. But the better question why he didn't Bermane Stiverne when became mandatory? That would've been easy work and he probably gave Wilder his first legacy fight.

Yes but Wilder also should have fought Wladimir, Parker, AJ, Haye, Whyte, Povetkin,...the list goes on and on. And yes he was managed to fight easy touches, but so is Fury right now. And just like Wilder, a lot of you idiots think that Fury is unbeatable when the truth is, he is vastly unproven. And a steroid cheat. Wilder was finally exposed, just like Fury will soon be exposed.
