As a European I have to admit that there are no American hype jobs, to me it's mostly eastern European fighters like bumlovkin who sat in a dead division for years fighting bum after bum..then when he faced some more serioues competition he folded like an ironing board, no drama show against canelo and jacobs. I also want to mention lomachenko but he's not as bad as little G...he's a decent b level fighter but he's not the great boxer everyone makes him out to be, we all know the Mexican dude beat him, then loma got always matched against guys he could beat, and I'm sure lot's of the fights were rigged, dude's got paid to lose to make him look good.
Biggest American hype job in the 21st century?

Wilder, pre-Fury 1 was a total hype job, no comparison.
Couldn't have a more padded, mis-representative record for a long reigning champion than Wilder.
To me, he is 2-1-1, not this 42-1-1 BS.Comment

Surely my opinion, as a non-American, picking an American is the same as an American saying non-American's have low IQ's for picking American's, on a thread that's titled 'Biggest American Hype Job'
What makes an American fighter exempt from being a hype job?Comment
